Today's Encouragement (18 September 2022)

Greetings sister saints!

Here's a new day in the Lord for me! And I hope for you too!

A sister read this scripture and it's so encouraging...

That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;

Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Hebrews 6:18-20

I love that and praise God!

So I share a few more verse that are kind of related and greatly encouraging too!

In the fear of the Lord is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.

Proverbs 14:26

But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

Hebrews 3:6,14

And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

 1 John 2:28

I love all of those!

I've had a bit of a slower day today and was able to get out for a walk in the strong wind and occasional rain shower...

So good to refresh in His creation and the Word in those days that aren't so full of necessary work...especially after a long packed full week. God is good to us all in so many ways.

Made a big batch of muffins for the week ahead...

Wonder how long they will last though (that's just half of them in the picture). Praise God for good food blessings!

My almost 3 year old niece gave me this drawing she did today...

...and told me a couple times that she gave it to me because she loves me:-) So that made me think about this scripture...

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

1 John 3:18

And was thinking about how love always has actions and cannot be seperated. And we also know don't we that we love God by obeying Him. And we love the brethren by actions too...not just words.

And earlier my little niece came over and gave me a hug when she thought I had burned my fingers. So sweet are the little ones:-) I'm quite amazed at how mature an under three year old can be in so many ways. Glory to the Creator!

And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.

But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.

And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.

Mark 10:13-16

I love that too!

Thank you sister for sharing these scriptures...

Many awesome scriptures there are!

His Word is strengthening...and correcting and so many things!

Yes let's keep enduring hardness for the Lord! He is worthy!

I must go but I hope each of you are holding fast and growing in the Lord, and enduring and overcoming in Him!

Love to you all and a sister hug too!

In Christ,

Sister Michaela
