Today's Encouragement (24 July 2022)

Greetings sisters!

How are you all going this new day?! It's another good day to serve the Lord!

I thought of this scripture about choosing life...

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

Deuteronomy 30:19-20

He is our life and we want to serve Him!

And we love this one...

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Joshua 24:15

And I was thinking that there are many choices we make in this life. And as saints of God we want to make good choices for God's glory.

We can choose to be thankful in all situations and reject being unthankful.

We can choose contentment and reject being discontent.

We can choose joy and reject feeling gloomy.

We can choose to love and reject hate.

We can choose the Spirit and reject our flesh.

We can choose selflessness and reject selfishness.

And on and on all throughout the day we have many choices to make. And we want to make wise choices and ones that come from fearing God as that is the beginning of wisdom.

Thank you sister for the flower pictures! Awesome creations God made and sent to me in love by a sister.

And thank you sisters for sharing the Word too!

He definitely is worthy to be praised and thanked for He is good!

Scripture on holiness for today...

The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
Titus 2:3-5

Hold fast sisters! Keep loving the Lord most and striving to be holy and blameless women for Him! We have been bought with a price and we are not our own!

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela
