Today's Encouragement (11 July 2022)

Greetings sister saints!

The Lord is worthy to be praised! What a joy to live for Him and His eternal truth and not for this fleeting world and things that He's going to destroy!

Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

Mark 13:35-37

I was thinking about that scripture, about being ready at all times, when I was listening to roosters at quarter to 4 in the morning last night. Funny how they're still doing what roosters did in Bible times too! But that aside, it shows we have to be ready at all times and not caught up in seeking our own life here but living for God's kingdom!

Reminds me of this too...

And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

Luke 21:34

We don't want that to happen in any degree of way especially the cares of this life part.

Some of us sisters have been talking about how the things we used to treasure look so foolish to us now and so we rid them out of our lives! What joy to be set free!

I was also reading this scripture and thinking about the difference between the Lord's peace and order and the chaos of the flesh and sin...

Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.

This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

James 3:13-18

What an awesome scripture to ponder! Praise God for His ways. They are so good to follow!

Bread making from today. Just a Titus 2 glimpse from my life.

And see the Lord providing daily bread and be thankful!

Thank you sister for sharing this scripture...

It says a lot doesn't it.

Well that's what I have today I think! Strive on sister saints!

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela
