Today's Encouragement (5 May 2022)

Hello sisters!

Here I am back again with some simple sharing for my sisters who love the Lord!

This blog is centered around my love of the Lord. And I'm sure that's the case with my sisters who read it too that you love the Lord most! He is worthy!

But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

1 John 2:5-6

And we want to walk in His ways for us.

How precious to think of the Lord loving those who love Him.

For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.

John 16:27

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

1 John 5:3

And we sisters keep on walking in His commandments no matter what...alone if necessary.

Rainy cold day today here. That's a blessing because it's the end of such a long dry period.

And the Lord is good to allow both the good and the bad to have such blessings on the earth.

And got to see a little rainbow too...

...which was gone almost in a flash. Reminds me of life being a vapour...here today and could be gone tomorrow and we know our days are numbered and in God's hands.

More fabric blessings to make into skirts mostly over the coming weeks Lord willing...

More sewing today...
May we keep remembering to do all we do unto the Lord...and not just for man or even our flesh (in what we want to do). That makes everything so much more worthwhile and joyous doesn't it sisters! And all we do we want to be pleasing to Him anyway!

Thank you sister for sharing this picture...

It's beautiful...in the concept of the scripture and the pretty creation and also the godly woman behind it!

As sister saints we know that concept of being peaceful and not causing (unnecessary) strife. Obviously we know just living for Christ can cause division as we were told it should but in everything else we want to be peaceful where we can don't we, without compromise.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Matthew 5:9

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Hebrews 12:14

And we have as always our perfect example in our Saviour when He held His peace...

And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee? But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.

Matthew 26:62-63

Obviously there is a time to speak and a time to keep silence but may it all be to God's glory in obedience to all His ways for us. His ways are good aren't they sisters! Not necessarily easy in our flesh but we know they are good and perfect!

Well I guess that's it from me but I hope my sisters are strong in faith in the Lord trusting in Him, enduring, not growing weary, and pressing on, looking to our mighty Saviour! Hope your Titus 2 duties and any other good works go well for you and even if we have to rest sometimes due to sickness and weakness we can do that too in patience and contentment and in a godly way instead of complaining and losing our trust in the Lord. We need much patience in this life don't we. And we want to have it and it will be the fruit of the Spirit working in us and teaching it to us in all kinds of situations.

For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

Hebrews 10:36

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela
