Today's Encouragement (1 March 2022)

Hello sisters!

Back again here...I am and so are you. Hope your life in Christ is going well and you are strong in His truth. We do know of the deception and compromise all around us so we need to be strong to be able to stand. And God gives us what we need if we take action to do so.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Ephesians 6:13

I was also thinking of the fact of us being clean and pure and God not seeing our past sins (and hopefully we have no present ones) because we have been washed and made new in Christ when we repent. That is a big thing because we never could pay for them and we all have had many because we know how holy God is. What a precious thing Christ's blood is and we don't take it lightly. If we compare a godly person to an ungodly one...one has forgiven sin and the other doesn't. How thankful we ought to be and give our lives over to the One who bought us with a great price.

Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

Psalm 19:13-14

I dried some figs in the oven the other day...

Just on really low for several hours turning now and again. And they seemed to turn out good.

This was a large part of my day again today...

Yes you might be seeing glimpses of the same things here for awhile...but that's what I've been spending a lot of time on. But it's a blessing to have good food stored up. And I'm sure you Titus 2 sisters know how these things can be. And after all we do so many things the same like washing dishes and cooking and such anyway. And it's all good and what we should be doing.

You can peek into the pot of hot water where the jars of pears are too...

Evening gatherings from the garden...

(including carrots I pulled up to let the others grow bigger)

So much variety of foods God made isn't there! How can we not be so very thankful for what we have! We have the example of the children of Israel complaining and what God thought of that. Let it not be named among us saints who are commanded to be thankful. We don't even want it in our heart...not a bit. God can help us root it all out if we work with Him in doing so as with other things we don't want in there.

And a greater thing to be thankful for...we have been given much in Christ who made the way of salvation for us who obey Him. How very thankful we should be for that!

And we can be like this one thankful man that was healed who returned to thank Jesus for healing Him...

And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:

And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.

And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,

And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?

There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.

And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

Luke 17:12-19

I want to be like that one who returned to glorify God for what He has done! Let us be thankful. And we give our lives to follow Him.

And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

Luke 14:27

We are Christ's disciples aren't we sisters. He is our Master...and we follow Him and obey Him. And we can't just obey what we want...it must be everything or He isn't our Master and we're deceiving ourselves.

Well I must go sisters. Hope your good works, all those Titus 2 ones and such, and your obedience to the Lord in all other areas is going well. Keep holding fast to the truth in God's Word!

Love to you in the Lord,

Sister Michaela
