We're Rich!

Hello sisters!

How are you holy women on this day the Lord made and gave you? I hope you are strong in the Lord and His peace and joy and in the power of His might with His armour on!

A sister and I who talk daily via messenger often rejoice together in our blessings and we'll often state "I'm rich!" or "We're rich!". It makes us laugh because we realize we truly are (even if it's 'just' a glass of water but try going without for awhile)! God is so good to us! We have the most important riches one could ever have! Obviously we could lose those if we turn away but we keep striving on in the truth and obeying. God has been so very merciful to us to offer us the hope of eternal life through His Son.

And because we have so many true riches in Christ we have much to give freely to others! It is the gospel that has transformed our own lives and that we live in daily. And we are prepared to share that with others and those who ask and are seeking. It is a precious and most valuable thing.

We sisters rejoice together in many different things...giving thanks to God who gave it all. We often talk about how much we really have if only we 'see' it. We know the Lord gave the blessings and He can take them away too. He's given us so much we don't deserve.

I share a few messages from us sisters...

We want to keep being thankful daily in all the blessings the Lord bestows upon us! And we can remind each other of these things lest we forget or look at others and what we may not have. We know God has blessed us with health to labour for Him and serve others in our Titus 2 roles also. That is a great blessing right there.

And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
1 Timothy 6:8

Sure we have food and clothing and plenty of it (well I assume all who read do). We have water and hot drinks and meats and vegetables and fruits and bread and much variety of all kinds. Of course it all various as to where we are or what we choose to eat or for health restrictions but we all are blessed with good food. We do well to keep reminding ourselves of these things because we know how much the Lord hates grumbling.

Here I share some verses to encourage us in the true riches we have! We know our main riches are eternal ones!

For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

Romans 10:12

I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Revelation 2:9-10

As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

2 Corinthians 6:10

Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

Ephesians 3:8

Amen sisters and praise God for His Word and the truth it tells about the true riches. W
e truly are rich not only in food and raiment but also in many other things in our physical life, but most of all though in eternal riches of God and our treasures stored up in heaven!

Amen we are to be seeking God and His kingdom first! (Thank you sister for the picture:-)

How blessed we sisters are to partake of God's creation! We know it all was made by Him and for Him!

How blessed we are to see the sunsets! And that's just one thing and we have fresh air to breathe and we can hear the birds and the frogs and the breeze in the trees. We can see animals and keep them to provide food for us. We can have a garden and grow vegetables and fruits out of the ground. Or we can buy what we need from a store or online.

We're rich!

Are you sisters seeing all the blessings in your life daily? We don't want to take any forgranted but be thankful for the plenty we currently have. One day much may be taken away and will we still be thankful and content? I hope so. I want to be and I know my sisters do too. The Lord with His eternal riches are really all we need. But we trust Him to take care of our needs and it really is a blessing to be able to embrace a simple life in Christ. He is a our hope and our home is above.

As we sisters go about our daily Titus 2 works, may we be seeing clearly the riches of our daily needs being met and see that we have so much more than that...but most of all may we be striving for the true riches above. Thankfulness would be what we want to always have as godly women.

OK sisters well I hope that encouraged you to keep being content and thankful and rejoice in the Lord for what He has blessed us with. I hope you keep striving on following hard after our precious Saviour! Keep up walking in the truth and pleasing God no matter what others say. May your day be a joyous and fruitful one of thankfulness for the Lord and His goodness.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Ephesians 1:3-4

Love to you all in the Lord,

Sister Michaela
