Edification for a New Day

Greetings sisters!

How are each of you?

Are you so thankful to be the Lord's? I am! It's the greatest thing one could be. To be alive from the dead, to have a new heart, to have open eyes and hearts to the truth...it's all something to glorify Him for!

But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

Galatians 6:14-16

We die to ourselves and are new creatures in Christ!

And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

Luke 9:23

Right sisters...denying ourselves.

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Romans 8:13

The flesh...that part of us we all must fight. We turn to God and His ways crucifying our ways. We can't just stay where we were when we come to Christ. We can't stay comfortable in our past ways. No we repented of them and left them behind didn't we. What if we stayed where our flesh was ruling? If we stayed in things we knew were not in God's ways like Christmas or not dressing biblical or being unloving or unkind or selfish and on and on...well the ways of the flesh lead to death. And whenever it tries to rise up today we fight against it don't we.

It makes us sad doesn't it sisters when people say they love God and Jesus and just ignore Him, His commands, and His people. How precious is everything to do with our great God and the cleansing of Christ's blood. We never want to take this lightly do we. And even though Christ came over two thousand years ago His power is available just the same today! The power to live above sin and the flesh and this world. How precious this all is! And the brethren too. His holy saints, brothers and sisters, who have been bought with a great price. Eternal family who shall be with the Father for ever and seperated forever from those who reject Christ and His ways. We are all to be known for our love.

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

John 13:34-35

And thank you sister for sharing these verses today...

Much in that...humility, trusting in God and not worrying, and being on guard against our enemy. We need many reminders in this life lest we lose focus and forget.

Rejoice in that sisters!

Oh what a blessing that is too! Right and it mentions suffering again. We know we are to expect that!

Peace...we can have that in Him can't we sisters. There may be challenges around us but we trust and rest and draw strength and peace from our great God.

(And thank you for the picture too sister:-)

Amen sisters...so let that be us godly women. In the sight of God...it's of great price to have a meek and quiet spirit. We want to please our God don't we...we are His children!

But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

Hebrews 13:16

Well you all have a good and fruitful day sister saints!

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela
