Today's Sharing and Edifying

Greetings in the Lord sisters!

How are you all? We are blessed with one more day to use to serve our God! What a great choice we have sisters...to serve the Lord or not.

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Joshua 24:15

Amen sisters we want to serve the Lord...no matter the cost! And we know the cost is great don't we.

If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?

Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,

Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.

Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?

Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.

So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

Luke 14:26-33

He is worthy! And we follow Him into eternal life. What a great hope we have!

On another subject I was thinking about the widespread heresy that so many have accepted and we sisters may have in the past too. Sometimes I hear others around me singing hymns and I have come to realise how much heresy they often contain. We need to test all things don't we sisters. We know Paul and others warned about heresy and false teachers that would arise among the believers and perilous times in the last days.

I'm fascinated how this plant has all little compartments for water storage or something all along it's stem. Amazing creation. Maybe it's to store water for dry periods...I'm not sure. But what a wise and great Creator to make such things.

I saw this lizard sunning itself. Look how it's flattened itself to get the most heat from the sun. Another of God's interesting creations and what they do!

Glory to Him (not the animals or man)!

A sister and I were talking about how many people have left the idea that man is to have dominion over the animals. Instead we see animals almost having dominion over man even. We know of pet idolatry too. It reminds me of feminism too because that is just similar in where the women are not in their rightful place either. God made this all so He has the say in how it all works, amen sisters!

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Genesis 1:26

We live in a corrupt world don't we. One day it will all be put right though won't it sisters! So let us sisters be in our proper role under the authority of man as God has established.

My dad asked me to run some errands for him and as I was walking to the car this snake was in my path.

Another creation that God created...there's so many different ones! Glory to Him!

And I was blessed with a few opportunities to give gospel cards to those who served me and also a neighbor lady. We all can be doing whatever we can in our daily lives. The Lord grows and uses us where He has called us.

I sent a picture to a sister when I was in the town and she sent it back with the scripture.

Amen let us be ready and continuing to grow in being ready! The Lord is worthy to be served and laboured for! He is precious!

Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,

1 Peter 2:6-7

Thank you also sister for sharing more pictures and scriptures...

More glory goes to God for His creation and Word!

And I'm thankful for the true love and care among the brethren too.

I must go now sisters. Another day is over. Hope whatever time of day or night it is for you that you are standing strong in the Lord and His Word and truth. One day we shall all be gathered safely home. Until then let us.....endure!

For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

1 Thessalonians 5:9-11

Love in the truth,
