Today's Sisterly Edification

Hello sisters!

I'm thankful for one more day to be able to share something edifying with you. Let's not take each day and the blessings in it for granted but be thankful to the Lord for them all. We have much above food and clothing don't we! You only need to think that one day all these things may be stripped away from us, quickly or one by one. You can see easily how that could be in this time we are living in. We must focus on that which is eternal and can never fail! How encouraging to know there are some things that are solid and will never change! Praise God that He always will be and His Word will always be truth!

Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

Luke 6:47-48

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

2 Corinthians 5:1

Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

Acts 10:34-35

Praise God for that sisters! Glory to God that we can, wherever we are on this earth, be accepted with Him! Let us fear Him and work righteousness at all times sisters. What a great gift and opportunity we have been given to find hope through Jesus.

I read Psalm 116 to edify us sisters...

I was thinking today how people try to make Sunday the Sabbath day of rest and in doing so make up all their own rules of what to do and not do etc. I remember I used to think the same and it didn't make sense when people tried to make it be a day of rest and yet went and did their own worldly things and things that are certainly not restful. It's all hypocrisy and lies, deception and sin. They have merged the lie that Sunday is the Lord's day to the old law sabbath day.

I was also thinking how when I was deceived into thinking that it was some kind of special holy day I decided to not join my family when they went off for music practices and events on that day (at times) and just stayed home or went to church instead. That was a hard thing to do, to be different, but I thought I was doing what's right. Well now I know both are wrong (along with many other man made ways) but what I want to say is that we can think something is so right but then in the end it is wrong. And I had quite a few such false ideas which I have repented of and learned better on since. So we have to cling fast to God's Word sisters. I'm sure you all know of deceptions and ways in your own lives that would only have led to death too if continued on and that we see others on even if they have been warned.

Praise God for showing us the truth and really it is just getting back to what scripture says and rejecting what it doesn't. Glory to God! But we need the Spirit to open our eyes and ears too don't we. And keep shining your lights sisters! You may help warn others from such dangers if they will heed.

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

John 4:24

Beautiful sunny spring day today here...

Glory to God!

Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

John 9:31

And an amazing design of the Creator's in a bird feather...

And in pretty red grass seeds...

O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people. For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord.

Psalm 117:1-2

And some more food God provided to 'share' with you sisters...

OK well that is my edification for this day. Lord willing I shall be back here tomorrow! Strive on sisters! Our future is in eternity with the Father if we endure!

After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

Revelation 7:9-10

Fervent love to my holy obedient sisters in the Lord!
