Beware!

Greetings sister saints!

How are you going as you strive along this narrow road?

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Matthew 7:13-14

I was just thinking, sisters. We see and know about all the false religious people out there deceiving people. And we know whoever is not of God is of the world and satan. I was just thinking about how satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness. Remember? He quoted scriptures to Jesus. Of course they were twisted and Jesus refuted him with other scriptures but so we need to be on guard too sisters. Just because someone brings us a scripture doesn't mean they are of God and truly seeking Him. They could be working for the enemy of our souls (whether they know it or not). What a blessing we have the written word to read to test for truth. And we know the Spirit guides us into truth too.

So remember sisters, let us also use all His Word and not listen to people who bring scripture to you but it isn't taking in all of it...like satan did...

And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Matthew 4:6-7

And another thing, we must look at the fruit of whoever is bringing us the scriptures and whether they line up with a holy obedient life too.

And remember how satan tempted Eve in the garden? By questioning God's commands right? We see that today too don't we. So many are reading the scriptures and saying I don't think we really have to do that today, do we? Did God really say that?

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Genesis 3:1-5

Sisters, that is what he is still doing today! Be on guard precious sisters! The devil is a liar and a murderer remember. He wants nothing good for you. Christ is the truth and life!

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

2 Corinthians 11:3-4

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.

1 Thessalonians 5:21-22

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Hebrews 5:14

Let us test and discern all things sisters. What a wicked world of deception we live in today. But praise God we can know the truth! So beware of others who quote scriptures to you as satan knows them too. And most likely they are trying to justify their sins as well. Stand strong on the truth sister saints! Trust in the Lord! Be not persuaded from the simple belief you have of what God commands us to do. For women a few of those things are being sober minded, chaste, keepers at home, obedient to husbands, unadorned, having a meek and quiet spirit, under the headship of man, headcovered, good, quiet in the body gathering, dressed in long robes, shamefaced, helpers to husbands, and much more of course (1 Timothy 2, Titus 2, 1 Peter 3, 1 Corinthians 11). Yes those are God's commands. And of course we also have a great responsibility to be Christ's witnesses and prepared with the gospel of peace and ready to give an answer of the hope we have!

Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

Psalm 112:1

And for some Titus 2, I have a shirt making project coming up. I plan to sew another shirt and make a 'tutorial' on how I make mine. I hope to share that on the blog here. Just washed the fabric today...

I'm not sure if you can see the rain falling on this video but I think it's so awesome; falling rain , sunshine, growing green grass, and flowers.

Glory to God the great Creator!

O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.

The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.

Psalm 95:1-6

Thank you sisters for sending these pictures back with scriptures added:-)

Amen let us be hospitable to our brothers and sisters in the Lord. That's part of our love!

Grab a bowl of dessert, saints!

So that's my simple edification and exhortation for you today sisters! Let's cling fast to God's truth in His Word, all of it, and test all things!

Until tomorrow sisters.

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.

Philippians 4:19-21
