Good day sister saints!
The Lord gave us another day to serve Him and to be preparing for eternity!
Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
James 5:7-8
We need much patience in this Christian life amen sisters.
It was a beautiful morning here and I read you sisters Psalm 1...
I was busy sewing some of the day today. I finished sewing a skirt for a sister saint...
There is much love of the brethren in this all. It is a blessing to help one another in whatever way we are able.
I shared this verse with a sister today...
But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
1 Corinthians 12:18
And indeed we are not all the same in what we do and in our lives but we all do our part in the body...edifying, loving, and encouraging.
This makes me smile...packaging up two orders for sisters overseas:-)
...after many hours of work of love. I'm grateful to sew for you sisters and best of all we get to encourage one another in our walks in the Lord. We all love the Lord and that is the most important part! But thank you to both of you sisters for your love you show to me and I love you much in our precious Lord! So I look forward to sending off my sewing with much love to you my distant sisters who love the Lord. We will never meet on this earth most likely but Lord willing we shall all make it safely home in Christ where we shall all be with the Lord and His holy saints for ever!!! Press on in Him sisters!
Like Abraham we seek a better place...
By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.
These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.
And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
Hebrews 11:8-16
