Assorted Edification

Greetings sisters!

Are you doing well in the Lord today? I hope and pray so! What a blessing we have the Word to guide us and the Spirit to open our eyes and hearts to see the truth.

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Acts 26:18

I took you on a little walk in God's peaceful creation.

Praise God for beautiful and pure and good and lovely things to look at and think upon and give the Creator glory for.

I'm sure you are all grateful sisters that you are no longer the daughters of satan. Praise God we are now daughters of the most high God! We all have deep regrets for the past we lived not following God and living in false ways...doing things our way. But sisters by the mercy and grace of God we have hope of eternal life with the one true and holy God Himself and so we live to please Him daily because of what He has done for us!

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Philippians 2:12

Think of that sisters! Former wicked sinners under the wrath of God can now approach this holy God in Christ. That is such an awesome thing to ponder. We are so not worthy. But we have come to the light and hated our sin. We have trusted in this mighty Saviour and turned from our ways. The Spirit has given us a new heart and mind and we are born from above. And because we know this God is holy and commands that we be holy also we strive to please Him, leaving behind sin, fighting with our flesh and own desires. Let us press on in this until the very end sisters! We are in a battle today but the end is coming and eternity with God if we press through all this!

And I read this scripture and was pondering it and then appreciating what Christ did for us today!

And when he hath made an end of reconciling the holy place, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar, he shall bring the live goat:

And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:

And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness.

Leviticus 16:20-22

How grateful I am for the Saviour who bore our sins...

Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

Isaiah 53:10-11

Let us repent and forsake our sins and walk in newness of life in Him washed in His blood.

I also came across this scripture and I thought it was interesting...

And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.

Ezekiel 33:31

And we can see that today, people say they love God and others...but it's just with their mouths while they have a wicked heart. Praise God for the new heart He gave us which will bring forth good out of our mouth (and words/writings) and true actions of love.

A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

Matthew 12:35

Moving on to some Titus 2

Know what this is?

The carpet in my room was smelling a bit bad (must have been damp or something as it's wintertime here) so my mum told me to use this. It's just bicarb soda and some drops of lavender oil and it's supposed to freshens it up. Spread it over the carpet and leave it for awhile and then vacuum it up. Just a Titus 2 cleaning tip I guess:-)

Here's a meal to share sisters; beef, gravy, coleslaw, potatoes, and pumpkin. Praise the Lord we all have food...and good food at that!

(I assume all who read have food to eat...and if not then I'm sure if there was a way I would give you some:-)

And I was blessed with some cold fresh citrus juice...

We are rich sisters in so many ways. Let us be content and never complain about anything.

I also made some lemon chia pudding...

Delicious!

Thank you sister for sharing these pictures...

I was emailing a sister and sharing about how we see people today focused on their own lives and not the Lord or loving each other daily (claimed believers). Yet they all expect to be in heaven where the Lord will be our focus and being together as saints worshipping Him. But they all have the same hope and we are no better (but certainly different and travelling in a different direction). Praise to God for showing us the truth and as the sister shared this scripture...

Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

John 18:37

Praise God for His Son and that we can hear His voice.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

John 10:27

Let us follow our Shepherd sisters!

He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

John 12:25-26

Love, peace, and joy in Christ,
