Supply All Our Need

Greetings sisters!

How are you today? I know that there are many different things we face in this life that we must get through, but we know in Christ we can overcome all things. We can't on our own but with Him all things are possible. Let us all strive on hard looking to Him.

Today I thought of God supplying us with all things that we truly need.

"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

Philippians 4:19

He supplied a Saviour. How we needed one!

"Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:"

2 Timothy 1:9-10

"Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:"

Colossians 1:13-14

"He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?"

Romans 8:32

We are supplied with food and raiment which we are to be content with.

"And having food and raiment let us be therewith content."

1 Timothy 6:8

But above and beyond that we have much much more. We are very blessed to have so many different things in our lives to use or to make life easier or make better use of our time. May we be so grateful for these, but not set our hearts on anything but know that these are extra blessings and we may not have them one day.

"The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment."

Luke 12:23

Our spiritual food has been supplied..

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

I am that bread of life.

Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.

This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.

I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world."

John 6:47-51

"And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live."

Deuteronomy 8:3

Life is so short on this earth indeed and we know our souls shall live on forever. May we sisters, even though we need to be about looking after physical needs as helpers and servants, focus on the spiritual. It is easy to get caught up in things down here if we let ourselves be. But that would be like the 5 foolish virgins who were not prepared for the bridegroom to come. May we be like the wise who were prepared.

"Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh."

Matthew 25:13

I see it clearly the difference in what I once used to do and place more value on compared to now where I am focusing on eternal things, laying up treasure in heaven. And also to know we are in a spiritual battle, each of us, to overcome sin and the flesh and the enemy, a battle for souls. And so how foolish it was, I see what I once accepted and see how truly worldly it was. When the Lord leads you to His truth and reveals it to you then you see how blind you were even if you claimed to be a believer and follower of Christ.

"Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier."

2 Timothy 2:3-4

But back to what I was writing about how God supplies all our needs and more!

He is preparing a place for us for eternity...

"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know."

John 14:1-4

"Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:"

Matthew 25:34

There are so many blessings we can have if we are truly His and obediently following Him. I'm sure you can all think of very many.

"The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace."

Psalm 29:11

Truly everything good is from Him!

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning."

James 1:17

We most certainly have all things that we truly need...

"According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust."

2 Peter 1:3-4

Let us praise Him for all we have, and for what great hope is available for all, for it is very, very great indeed!

Thank you sister for making and sharing these pictures with me...

I hope this post has blessed you to think of our needs being met both physical and spiritual. Truly we don't deserve all what we have. We deserve death and destruction for our sins against a holy God. Instead God sent His Son so we can come back to Him through His Son. May we humbly serve and obey Him for His grace and mercy on us. We are not worthy but may we strive to walk worthy of His Name and righteously and do what is well pleasing in His sight.

Lord willing I shall be back here tomorrow sisters. Let us see what the next day brings!

"For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens."

2 Corinthians 5:1
