Encouragement for the Day

"Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour."

Ephesians 5:1-2

Greetings sister saints!

How has your day in the Lord been? I'm hoping it was good. I am striving on in the Lord though I was super tired in body today. Praise God one day all things will be NEW and we shall get a glorified body one day! (I didn't even mean to capitalise that word, it's a typo, but its going to stay because it's true:-)

"And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely."

Revelation 21:5-6

And I'm grateful for this too...

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

2 Corinthians 5:17

A faithful sister in the Lord sent me some encouragement from the Word, which I wanted to share some of here...

Thank you faithful sister...and for sharing these scripture pictures.

Praise God for His Word and the truth in it and also for His creation!

And praise God for the saints that are serving the Lord, and the salt of the earth, shining as lights in a crooked and perverse generation...

I'm blessed when saints share and edify the other members. And as those verses say, there's precious things we are so blessed to be partakers of.

I was reminded of this too...

"Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee.

But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:

And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.

Luke 14:12-14

Amen. God Himself will reward us as we shouldn't look to be repaid for things we do for others. And think of all the people who may have heard the gospel through you and done nothing but ignore or hate you for it. God will repay His faithful servants for sure!

And precious are the prayers of the saints...

"And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand."

Revelation 8:3-4

"Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."

James 5:16

Let us sisters pray for one another.

"But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven."

1 Corinthians 11:5

So I hope this post has blessed and encouraged you wherever you are and whenever it is you read this (now or in 5 years time if we get that:-)

Love in Christ,
