My Sisterly Love for February 26th

Greetings in the Lord!

I pray you are all striving on and enduring through each day keeping your eyes on Christ.

I have quick and simple post for you sisters today:-)

I read this verse this morning...and it got me thinking.

"These things I command you, that ye love one another."
John 15:17

I wonder sometimes if we don't want to get hurt ourselves so we don't reach out in love like we should. But that is a command so we must.

I mean, the more you love the more hurt there is when people reject that love. So I was thinking that that could be a lesson for us in what people are doing to God. His act of love to the world in sending His Son is being rejected and mocked. Let us strive to please our Lord and love as He commanded.

"But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:"
Ephesians 4:15

"And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved."
2 Corinthians 12:15

"Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?"
Galatians 4:16

Let us stand on and speak the truth in love.

As a keeper at home who cooks a lot, I like this account...Jesus cooking a meal for His disciples.

"As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread. Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught. Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken. Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord. Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise."
John 21:9-13

Let us trust Him for our daily bread.

"And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you."
Luke 12:29-31

And we know Jesus Himself is the bread of life.
"Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world."
John 6:32-33

And I share some scripture pictures, made and sent with love; love for God and love for my sisters in the Lord:-)

"Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us."
Romans 8:34

Praise God for that!

"It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself."
2 Timothy 2:11-13

Amen.
