Encouragement for Today

Greetings sisters of the Lord!

Today I shall keep it simple. My internet is slow, and sometimes short and simple can be just as good.

I was thinking on the goodness of God for His children, those who are born by the Spirit and new creations.

Yes we all must fear God. He is GOD! But if you are in Him and know Him and obey the gospel then we can have peace with Him...while still fearing and reverencing Him of course.

This verse came to mind as I was driving today...about diligently seeking God.

"But without faith it is impossible to please him : for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."
Hebrews 11:6

He rewards if we do that. Are you diligently seeking Him today?

"And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart."
Jeremiah 29:13

"The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him."
Lamentations 3:25

Yes as I've been writing about, there is terrible judgement coming upon those who are not Christ's. But He is good to those who endure in Him and obey Him. And in fact He is too good to the evil also as He let's them live, feeds them and sends the rain and sunshine. What a merciful and long-suffering God He is on the wicked. He gives them all a chance to repent! Just like He gave me that and all you godly women too when we used to be sinners. Praise God He gave us new life and it is available to all!

As this verse says.

"Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off."
Romans 11:22

That's worth pondering deeply. Especially since so many have a false view about "God loving everyone" and overlooking sin.

"And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come.

And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely."

Revelation 22:17

Praise God that the promise is to all! No sin is too hard for Him to forgive if we repent and forsake it! He is mighty to save! Amen sisters?!

"Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled."
Matthew 5:6

Well sisters, I send this with love and I pray you all are striving on each day.

Since my internet is rather too slow for pictures...these will have to do for flowers for you today:-) I mean the best...I do.

And these for my keeper at home things...

🍛 🍴 🍲

I cooked dinner and did bits and pieces that come with what we women do. I'm planning to do a batch of "slow cooker pear butter" tomorrow...and even some lemon butter. Yum. Praise God for all His gifts bestowed upon us unworthy beings. He is good!

I pray you all have a fruitful day in the Lord...remembering what matters most in life.

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

Matthew 6:33
