Doing the Lord's Will

Greetings sisters!

I pray you are weathering the storms of this life as a saint. Striving on through easy times and hard times. We must faithfully endure all the way to the end to receive the promise of eternal life.

Today I have some verses to edify and encourage on thinking on and doing the Lord's will. We are blessed, that as women we have been shown what is the Father's will in how He wants us to be in holiness and obedience. I have shared a lot of those on other posts (on dress, head covering, quietness and submission etc). So these are simple ones to ponder and bless you in some way as I was. And I hope and pray you are doing the Lord's will in what He commands for us women.

"And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day."

John 6:39-40

"For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother."

Matthew 12:50

"Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish."

Matthew 18:14

"For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing."

1 Peter 3:17

I can relate to this one. It's such a blessing to not "fight" situations and just give them all up into the hands of God.

"And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done."

Acts 21:14

"Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is."

Ephesians 5:17

"That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God."

1 Peter 4:2

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."

Matthew 7:21

"For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise."

Hebrews 10:36
