Today's Edification (24 October 2024)

Greetings sisters!

It is another good day to serve our Lord! I hope you are all pressing on in the faith after Him diligently!

I'm keeping occupied here and that is a great blessing in itself and I'm blessed to have quite a variety of things to do! I'm thankful for it all. And we can only do as much as we can and keep examining our lives and making sure we aren't lacking in an area and such. But compared to God we're so puny and limited so that keeps us humble before Him. May we look to Him for our help!

Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
Psalm 124:8

It is good to ponder on the Word 'Saviour'! We know this is Jesus Christ the Son of the Father who came into the world! I'm sharing some verses on Him.

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
Luke 2:11

And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.
John 4:42

Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey Him.
Acts 5:31-32

For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
Philippians 3:20

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
2 Peter 3:18

There's many more of course but we are surely so thankful for a Saviour from our sins and from God's wrath! Let us abide in His protection and love by following and obeying Him in faith!

I was listening to scripture as I was sewing and this one stood out...

But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
1 Timothy 5:8

Yes...our works do say a lot and that's quite a statement. Wonder how the faith alone people explain that away? Truth is our actions do matter.

This also stood out to me how brother Paul was praising another brother for his faith and good works...

I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers,

Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints;

That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.

Philemon 1:4-7

Indeed we can encourage other sisters by acknowledging when they are doing well and encourage them on in it! Of course there is a place for warning and rebuking of course keeping our place as women but it needs to be balanced with encouragement for those who truly are striving and love the Lord. Here's another similar scripture...

Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.
1 Corinthians 11:2

And this following later of what he was correcting them in...

Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.

What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.

1 Corinthians 11:17, 22

Reminds me of this scripture too...

Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips.
Proverbs 27:2

May we live by His Word and also imitate the good examples!

I sometimes ponder how it's good to just share simple good pure and true things here. I'm content with that and with sharing what I can. We each have a variety of duties and need to figure out what's most important don't we and spread ourselves out over it all! I find it important to focus on the sisters I do have in my life and be faithful with what the Lord has given me there! And it's a blessing to share here too for all so Lord willing I do each day!

Keep fighting the good fight of faith sisters! Endure any hardness as good soldiers of Jesus Christ! My love to you in His name.

Today's Edification (23 October 2024)

Greetings sister saints!

Another day is here to serve the Lord with joy and also fear and trembling!

Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Psalm 2:11

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Philippians 2:12

Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
Psalm 32:11

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
James 1:2-3

We want the whole truth and nothing but the truth and don't take half the truth or focus on one aspect of God but all of them!

Two good but long scriptures to ponder here...

Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,

Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.

But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.

And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

Luke 13:23-30

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Matthew 7:13-27

A lot of wisdom and help for our discerning others and also our own selves in there. May we sisters be bearing good fruits in abundance some thirty fold, some sixty, and some an hundred all for His glory and with the abilities and gifts He has granted each one of us!

O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Romans 7:24-8:2

Surely we have a new and living way in Christ and the Spirit!

Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
Acts 13:38-39

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,

By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

And having an high priest over the house of God;

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Hebrews 10:19-22

I came across this scripture and it's a good reminder that this earth and it's riches can come to nothing very quickly (and they will) and so we want our treasures in heaven!

And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!

For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,

And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!

And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

Revelation 18:16-19

We know our Lord is coming soon, and that any earthly possessions we have are His and so temporary. Let us lay our treasures up in heaven and there will our heart be! Indeed we set our affections there.

I've had another busy day labouring in various works here. But rest is a blessing the Lord has ordained at the end of each one...and greatly looked forward to at times! So let's keep pressing on in all the Lord has for us each day and redeeming the time for good the best we can.

Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Psalm 139:23-24

Amen, may we be led in the way everlasting! Strive on sisters! Love to you in His holy name.

Today's Edification (22 October 2024)

Greetings sister saints!

Another day is here to press through serving our Lord and keeping occupied in whatever good works He has for us.

We are blessed to have so many words of our Saviour to teach and guide us...

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 5:17-20

Pondering on this scripture and what Jesus went on to teach about what the law said and then He added..."but I say unto you". Such authority He had. He is God. And it just makes it clear how much of a high calling we have now. It has not been lowered! Let us press on in this truth sisters, striving with His help to walk worthy of Him, and not bring reproach upon His holy name, but be adorning His doctrine, bearing much good fruit for His glory!

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3:13-14

Yes press forwards we must. We don't want to let our past or any guilt or shame or failure or inexperience or whatever drag us back or make us feel hopeless or anything like that! The hope is forwards in Christ if we continue in the faith and not grow weary. Overcoming means we conquer many things and all things that we must!

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
Revelation 2:7

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
Revelation 3:21

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
Revelation 21:7

Those are precious...so fight on my sisters!

I've had another busy day here and was finishing up my day communicating with my spiritual family I know and now am also dropping in here with a little edification! May we build each other up in the faith and not tear down.

Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
1 Thessalonians 5:11

I hope all your godly women's duties go well today and if they're not exactly going well just keep pressing on patiently! We all know that things don't always go the way they should or don't work out or something but just let us practice our patience and remember what is most important in this life!

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Matthew 6:33-34

Let us keep walking in His light and truth sisters!

Today's Edification (21 October 2024)

Hello again sisters!

I hope you are all well in the Lord today!

Indeed His grace is sufficient for us! Let us remember all His goodness and be glad and thankful and encouraged to press on each day!

Our God is gracious...

And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.
Exodus 33:19

And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, Who are those with thee? And he said, The children which God hath graciously given thy servant.

Take, I pray thee, my blessing that is brought to thee; because God hath dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough. And he urged him, and he took it.

Genesis 33:5,11

Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
Psalm 116:5

For if ye turn again unto the LORD, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him.
2 Chronicles 30:9

O LORD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.
Isaiah 33:2

Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
Psalm 112:4

The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
Numbers 6:24-26

What a blessing to serve such a wonderful God...indeed the only one, true, and living God!

But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.

Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.

He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.

Jeremiah 10:10-12

Indeed we also fear to obey Him and strive to abide in His love as our Saviour taught us.

I'm catching up on some pictures today too. Just a glimpse into what I'm up to or saw. There's always something in His creations to see and marvel at too! And I want to pass on any good things to my sisters and perhaps it's encouraging somehow!

So beautiful night sky to take pictures of last night!

Glory to God!

You can faintly see a comet on the right too. Well in the picture but not with your eyes.

Looking like summer in the garden.

A simple pleasure...pulling giant carrots from the ground...

And digging up potatoes...

Like finding hidden treasures. Indeed blessings of food that the Lord provided!

Been so much sewing going on here...

I got two of these skirts sewn and up on my store.

And working on restocking shirts too and other experiments too! I'm still learning a lot but whenever you come across a better technique it's good to learn it well.

Animal works too...

Looking dry and dead like summer here...

But thankful for some rain God sent...

It's beautiful seeing raindrops on everything especially flowers. Simple pleasures. Good pure and true. And water is so essential for all life and it's easy to see things don't last long without it

For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Isaiah 55:10-11

And the day is over for me. But there's still labours to do, including finishing up writing to you here! I hope your day has been good...or if it's morning I hope it will be good in the Lord! It's always a good day to serve Him!

And here I sit in my little temporary earthly home under the stars writing to you...

And it's a warm evening after a warm day and it's so quiet and I'm listening to lots of frogs down by the lake and earlier there were birds and yes some mosquito noises and insects and distant cattle too. So I'm just being really thankful for some peace. A good blessing from the Lord!

I was writing to a sister today and sometimes when you get going it's hard to stop but I was talking about sewing and about the humiliating origin of clothing and then I was writing about how we get white robes in heaven and it's very beautiful really. There's so much about it in Revelation so I share them here too for extra encouragement for all my sisters.

Precious things to look forward to and encourage us to press on with more zeal and love for Him as we don't deserve this hope. Praise God!

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Micah 6:8

Amen...walk humbly with our God and in our right submitted and surrendered place before Him.

And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
Matthew 23:12

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
1 Peter 5:6

We do the humbling and not the exalting and He does the exalting when we do! Interesting.

Well I must go now sisters. I hope you keep striving on and overcoming all things! So many promises in Revelation for those who do!

Grace, mercy, love and peace to you...in His name.

Today's Edification (20 October 2024)

Greetings sister saints!

The Lord our Creator gave us another day!

It's always good to get your thoughts set for the day in the morning. Well when you're just waking up you're not quite with it and so when you get going for the day it's good to think on Him and all His grace and mercy and be thankful for all His blessings! And of course remembering them throughout the day as you labour in physical works.

I got blessed to wake up to a message from a sister which included many scriptures on who are blessed. I share some here as it's encouraging! (Thank you dear sister:)

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
Psalm 32:1-2

And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.
Luke 7:23

But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
Luke 11:28

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
Jeremiah 17:7-8

Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
Psalm 2:12

Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.

Luke 12:37-38

May these truths lift us up and edify!

It was another busy day for me mostly in sewing and some gardening too but just thankful to get whatever I can done. I hope you're all pressing forward through whatever time and season it is in your life...hard or easier they all have their unique things to press through. Of course His Word and Spirit and our consciences guide us and how thankful we are for those but we also need to heed and listen to that guidance and act upon it. We know hardening of hearts and searing of consciences happen. May it not be so but may we be sensitive to the truth in the fear of God.

He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
Proverbs 29:1

Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.
Proverbs 28:14

But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted.
Ezekiel 3:7

But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
Romans 2:5-6

Instead may we have soft hearts, pure hearts, humble hearts, willing hearts, meek hearts, surrendered hearts. Indeed we are just the clay in the Potter's hands.

There is so much about the heart in the Word, I could be here a long time sharing, but I just share a few!

The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
Psalm 34:18

O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.
Psalm 36:10

Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Psalm 51:10

Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
1 Timothy 1:5

Amen...may we have a right heart and one made new by the Spirit!

Keep fighting the good fight of faith my sisters! Be strong!

Today's Edification (19 October 2024)

Greetings in love to my sisters in the Lord!

I hope you're doing well and are strong in the faith today!

I had an extra busy day again...sewing, gardening, looking after animals and other Titus 2 works but dropping in here too to edify you!

Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.
Acts 11:23

Amen...we must cleave unto the Lord with purpose of heart! We have a free will...may it be towards the Lord and His ways!

Indeed something such as faith is really only manifested in our actions as James 2 so clearly teaches. It is our faith that comes first which leads to actions consistent to the One in whom we believe! Our works alone are vain but praise God for a Saviour to follow and a new heart to love and obey Him! Imagine believing in God and yet not believing He means what He says?! Yet people do but may we truly believe and therefore act upon it!

Also reminds me of an example of how little faith is shown...the disciples fearing in the storm.

And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
Matthew 8:26

And similarly this account...

And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

Matthew 14:29-31

And this is a good one to encourage us to trust in Him!

Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?

And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.

For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.

But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Luke 12:27-32

Much depths to continue to grow in of trust and faith and submission and fear and love of our great God!

Lord willing I will be back sharing here tomorrow. I am still taking pictures of things here and there as I go so hopefully will catch up on those here soon too. Keep pressing on in your works wherever you are sisters! And even if it's a quiet life that not many see, God sees and after all He is the one we are pleasing although we also should do well in our serving others as in a bit different context servants are to please their masters as scriptures teach! And if any of you have husbands you're working to help and please them too which pleases God. Of course not doing anything sinful in it all though. We are not our own and are striving to please first our Master in heaven.

Love to my sisters in the faith. Grace and peace to you.

Today's Edification (18 October 2024)

Greetings sisters!

I'm here again to share some edifying for your day! May all we do be for His glory! That would mean it would be good and pure and true and many other godly things!

I've had a busy day today so I'm dropping in as I can here!

I was thinking this is my heart's desire and prayer and I trust it is yours too...not to wander from His commandments.

With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Psalm 119:10-11

We long to remain in His ways and we fight that which is either sin or just distractions or weights that hinder us. I'm thankful to have guidance in the way we should go!

There is a lot in His Word about paths and ways.

Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.
Proverbs 4:14-15

We want God's good ones!

Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.
Psalm 119:35

Amen!

We know we must continue in the faith to be saved...so let us keep labouring diligently in the truth and trusting in our Saviour!

Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.

So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)

Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

Hebrews 3:10-15

Pondering through that scripture today. There's a lot of things from the Old Testament mentioned in the New and sometimes you can forget what exactly is being referred to so it helps to go back and look for a better understanding and context.

I came across this and it's just interesting and some things are like you haven't noticed them before. But you can forget too.

Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel:

And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.

And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.

Exodus 24:9-12

God was indeed working and revealing Himself in great ways to them. And yet often times they still didn't believe or obey Him did they. I listened through all the plagues and wonders in Egypt today and it's obvious that God clearly showed them His power and that He was helping them.

It was standing out to me how that there is power in other things than God and we see it at work in the lost.

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
Acts 26:18

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
Colossians 1:13

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
Hebrews 2:14

But our almighty God is in ultimate control and we can overcome too in His power! Let us stay close to Him sisters...and then He will to us as well. That's interesting in itself. We have acting to do and not just sitting back letting Him do it all for us.

Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.
James 4:8a

We surely need a powerful Saviour to deliver us from many powerful things! May we be renewed by the Spirit and follow hard after Him!

Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.
Psalm 63:7-8

Keep walking in the truth and light sisters! Hold fast!
