Today's Encouragement (25 December 2023)

Salutations sister soldiers!

Hope you're holding fast and choosing to serve the Lord today!

My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.

Psalm 63:8

I was pondering how we have to be following closely after Jesus as He is our only way to the Father and to be safe from God's wrath.

Here's some scriptures on following Him..

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

John 10:27

But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.

Matthew 8:22

And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

Matthew 10:38

Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

1 Corinthians 11:1

We know we can't follow Him if we're trying to have two masters in our life. We must have one!

No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Luke 16:13

I have about half of the onion harvest drying in the shed...

And all of the garlic...

How thankful we can be for anything above simple food! God is good.

She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
Proverbs 31:16-17

Was thinking of the Proverbs 31 woman when I was working to net some fruit trees from the birds.

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

James 5:7

We want to be good stewards of the 'precious fruit of the earth' and not let it go to waste if we can help it.

Reminded me of this scripture too...

The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious.

Proverbs 12:27

Next scripture reading here...

Praise God for His Word!

And I read some more scriptures to encourage us all on refining and purifying etc...

We are blessed to have His Word!

And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
Hebrews 9:22

Pondering on the sacrifice of our Saviour...

And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

Ephesians 5:2

God had to send Himself to pay for our sins. That's pretty big and no light matter. He is too good to us than what we deserve.

For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

Hebrews 9:26

But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Hebrews 10:12

Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

Revelation 5:12

Amen! Worthy is the Lamb!

Let's keep striving on for Him, sisters!

Salutations to my beloved sisters!

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Colossians 3:12-15

Awesome scripture of God's holy ways to walk in! Hope you're striving on sisters!

And if anyone is reading and not striving to obey all of God's Word and live holy in all ways...I encourage you to repent and obey the gospel!

I wanted to read some scriptures on the 'Word of God' as it's so important to us to live by!

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Psalm 119:105

Thankful for one more day with health and strength and freedom to occupy in good works...

We're not locked in jail or bed ridden...but His will be done if that happens and He will have other things for us to do then!

Always amazing to see God providing things from the ground:-)

And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Genesis 1:11-12

Peaceful chick creations.

Yes it's the world's 'crazy season' as they call it and praise God we ourselves can be set free from it! That 'spirit of Christmas' is not of God. It's a season of the flesh...extra food and gifts and all sorts of extra traditions of all sorts...not found in the Bible of course.

It's always good to remember that our God is one of order. He gave commandments to humans from the very beginning and so we have them today also. When we are outside of His ways...it is confusion.

Therefore our lives also should be ones of order sisters. Our physical lives in Titus 2 areas and our use of time should be ordered to be best redeeming the time. Of course flexibility is also essential as it's all the Lord's time and He can have different things for us than we thought but we want to be good stewards of this gift of time that we have been given.

When you realize or remember the truth that all we have is the Lord's then it helps us let go of things whether that's possessions, time, or people in our lives etc. We should cleave unto the Lord. He is in control and all He gave is His. As Job rightly said..."the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD." (Job 1:21b) Amen!

And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

Matthew 8:26

I always think of that scripture in stormy weather. We can trust in God in it all. Be wise and not tempt Him ourselves of course but leave the rest to Him and be at peace. Nothing can happen that He doesn't allow. He sees and knows where His saints are. If destruction or injury comes...remember Job and bless the Lord's holy name!

Next scripture reading...

Always things in Jesus' teachings to ponder on and make sure we have right in our own lives.

And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.

And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.

Luke 6:31-33

We have a high standard to live up to. Let us do right to all no matter what they do or don't do to us. Let us be long suffering and patient and merciful. We each need to make sure we are doing what's right ourselves. And give to others whether that's physical things or edification and love etc and not expect anything back. The Lord will reward us on that day...

And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.

Luke 14:14

(Thank you sister for the awesome scripture and creation picture:-)

Hold fast in the battle sisters! Let's not grow weary in well doing!

Today's Encouragement (23 December 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you're pressing onwards and upwards in the Lord! And abiding in the Saviour, bearing much fruit through Him for His glory!

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

John 15:8-10

Today, I wanted to share what my life is currently if it can encourage any sister in a similar life...or even if your life is different. God be glorified and His light shines through all of our lives wherever we are! He has us all in various and unique lives and obviously if anything was sinful we would have to change it or do our best to. But each of us sisters lives will be different of course and we want to glorify God and use each one to the fullest to do good works in.

There are many actions that are pleasing to the Lord including things like working hard at good things either to earn money or your keep or if a sister was married, to be an obedient wife keeping the home. We don't want to look past these duties to a life we don't have of what we might think is 'greater' like full time ministry in the gospel.

Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

Ephesians 4:28

We know one aspect of feminism is to neglect the usual woman's duties of Titus 2 and Proverbs 31 types. That is also sinful. But we also don't want to fall into the other ditch of being cumbered about much serving like Martha, obsessing with things that do not matter to the neglect of things such as studying His Word, gospel ministry however you can do it, and edifying sisters if you have them in your life.

So on to explain what the Lord has for me at this time in my life which is all I have. The past is gone and the future is not guaranteed on this earth.

I serve my earthly family (at the parents place) in housework, cooking, and garden and animal work etc. I have been blessed to have a caravan/camper trailer to live in which gives me some extra separation and privacy as I am not spiritually united with them at all. It's just an extra blessing to be thankful for on top of food and raiment.

And then I quite regularly travel to my earthly sister who has four young children four and under to help with the house work and with them. This is a 3 hour drive so whether I go by bus or drive there are more opportunities for the gospel to go out on the way.

While all my earthly family would say they believe in Jesus it is evident by their fruit that they lack much and do no have the fruit of being born of God. So I am not spiritually connected with them in any way. I separated from their 'church gatherings' and bible studies and no longer eat meals with them (per 1 Corinthians 5:11 and others about separation). I keep my distance and live my life for the Lord, minding my own business in my work, and they do their things. Of course I need to communicate with them regarding my work and to respect my masters but there isn't fleshly closeness or any fellowship.

Thankfully they do not hinder my faith and are supportive of me for the most part. Otherwise it wouldn't be possible to work here and the Lord would provide some other situation for me. Maybe He will have something else for me one day but as we learn we sisters need to be focusing on today and the opportunities in front of us as that's all we have and all He has given us!

But sadly one of my family members has even taken to online writings against the true faith once delivered and against one of my brothers in Christ which I am united to and share the same beliefs with. So there is no unity of beliefs with them and with one acting as an active enemy of the gospel with the others on his side, I know it's the right thing to do to remain separated for this and other reasons of lack of fruit of holiness and obedience and other aspects of the gospel. We hope they repent and we are all there to help if they do one day.

The Lord has called me here as a servant...

Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.

Art thou called being a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather.

For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant.

Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.

Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.

1 Corinthians 7:20-24

I came to the Lord here and so because it doesn't cause me to sin and is a wiser situation than perhaps a woman being out in the world alone, which would be fine with wisdom if necessary and the Lord watching over...here I am.

He has me here to be a light and salt and obey Him in being a good servant and all other things! Every day can be a witness for Christ in all I do and don't do. And while I have shared much truth with my earthly family before and for the most part it would be casting pearls to try to speak with them in any depths unless there is repentance, I can do what is right in my own life and look to season my speech with salt and be ready to give an answer if it's from a genuine seeker and not someone who will trample it and speak evil of the brethren. While we can't fix everyone else's problems if they don't want any help we can shine our own lights and point to the Lord in them.

It is a situation that helps me see more deeply that I am not my own. It is one that involves a lot of flesh killing in many ways.

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

God be glorified...that should be what we live for sisters. We are nothing without Him anyway and without abiding in Christ we cannot do anything either.

We may want a different life at times sisters (all good of course) but guess what...each one will have much flesh to kill in it so we better just learn to grow and thrive right where the Lord has us unless He opens a door elsewhere! He knows where we need to be and what can stretch us and refine and purify us. God knows best! Let us be thankful and content in the life He has for us. Never content in sin but God knows our situations and if we are doing what we can in them.

In the world's eyes we will seem as fools and we have to rejoice in this! Praise God to know this precious truth! Yep we may feel lonely in the flesh but what does that matter because we have an eternal inheritance with the Father if we overcome!

And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Romans 8:17-18

(What saints of old had to go through by faith! Encouraging examples for us and that we have it pretty good. Something to be thankful for and use wisely for the Lord.)

So moving on to what else I occupy in. The internet is a tool I can use for good in writing my blog here as well as communicating with sisters and sending out the gospel around the world. I appreciate being able to do this very much. All good things from the Lord. Sometimes I get to email with women to either help them in truth or contend for the faith once delivered. We have to just do our works unto the Lord and let Him deal with what people do with it.

I have my online biblical clothing store also that has it's times of being busy. That's a blessing to have to be able to help others who desire to dress biblical. We know not many want to but it's just a blessing to be able to try to help the few that do even if they aren't fully biblical in everything. God put humankind in such clothing from the beginning so it's a necessity and good to be worn even if the person isn't born of God (just as it's still right from the beginning for one man to marry one woman and to take dominion of the earth). My store can also be an outlet for sending out gospel cards along with orders too! Just be faithful in what little we can be...and that is faithful in much.

And when I can fit them in I am blessed with a few cleaning jobs in order to help support myself and my ministry and have a little stored up to give if anyone had true needs ever or for whatever the Lord has for my future. I appreciate the jobs out in the world too because it brings me into more contact with people who need the gospel.

So praise God for all the good things each of us can do wherever the Lord has called us! Let's look diligently to the work before us and be faithful in it all and learn and grow in each situation. There is no time for such things as entertainment, recreation, or hobbies for anyone seeking first God's kingdom and righteousness...let alone them being sinful in many ways.

He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.

Luke 19:12-13

Occupy in good works till He comes!

You keep holding fast sisters wherever the Lord has you! No matter where we are we can be who the Lord wants us to be. Of course we forsake all sin in our own lives and do the best we can while living in this world to not get spotted by it as we sure can't escape it.

There may be times you have to do some things that you wouldn't if you were on your own. This would be small parts of your serving that are part of it. If you are a godly woman who has come to the Lord while being married to an unbeliever then there will be much to sort through as to what you will not do and what you will need to do. For example you will need to keep washing his clothes and cooking meals. The clothes would not be biblical and the meals may be expensive elaborate ones he wants you to cook. Food and raiment...everyone needs it so that's part of our duties but we would draw the line to not participate in things like pagan or false practices and direct sins...like if he wanted you to go watch a movie or decorate the house for Christmas, or turn on the TV or read worldly books to the grandchildren. And so in my serving too I must avoid all that is evil but there's always going to be those things that you have to do your best in while not sinning yourself.

And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

Colossians 3:23

God knows it all and we must do our best in it all. We cannot avoid this evil world and just like when you shop in the stores you are paying/supporting the wicked but as Jesus said give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's.

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

1 Corinthians 10:31

God be glorified and praised for ever and ever! Thrive and strive on wherever the Lord has you sisters! He is our strength and our help!

Salutations to my beloved sisters who are saints of the most high God!

To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 1:7

Praising God that we have such a great high priest in Christ!

But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

Hebrews 9:11

But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.

Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

Hebrews 7:24-26

Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Hebrews 4:14-15

Next scripture reading here...

I was pondering how actually doing something is very different to seeing someone else do it or reading about it or being taught how to do it. In this case, I am thinking about witnessing. And while teaching and observing is a tremendous help, when you do it yourself you still have much to learn how to discern the situations and interact with people in a great variety of ways. Of course we can/should focus on the gospel and not be led around into all peoples excuses but it takes experience in order to do something well. But we just have to start and the Lord will help us through our imperfections as we trust Him. And each situation is different and we have to use wisdom in each one.

Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

Matthew 10:16

I spent a good portion of the day just setting up a newer phone. When you're dealing with such physical things, it's refreshing to get back to focusing on the Word like writing here but it is a great blessing to have technology to do more of the Lord's work than we could otherwise. They're really mostly ministry tools for us believers. Yes they have their challenges and we need to be disciplined and careful with them but overall they are a great tool to love the saints with and help seekers and spread the gospel and other day to day life uses like going shopping and studying the Word! A phone may get outdated and begin to not fully work...but God's Word remains the same through all generations and for eternity! Praise God we can trust in Him!

But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you

1 Peter 1:25

Fruitful garden blessings. God is good to provide.
Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.

Acts 14:17

You can find a zucchini soup post I made here.

I'd serve you all a bowl too!

Refreshing seeing plants flourishing! It isn't always the case here in such a dry climate. Water is such a huge blessing to life!
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
John 4:14

Simple Zucchini Soup

Greetings Titus 2 sisters!

Today I'm sharing a zucchini soup recipe that I like to make. It's one of the things that use a lot of zucchini which is often what you want to do when you have super fruitful plants!

I'm not sharing actual measurements as soups are so customizable and if you've had any experience with them you can just wing it:-)

I use mostly zucchini but add a few potatoes and an onion and some garlic and some stock or broth or just salt and add water to cover about three quarters of the veggies.

You don't have to worry about chopping the vegetables that small as you'll be blending it smooth later.

Just cook until soft and then blend. (While it may add some extra flavour to fry the onion first I don't bother most times.)

Good healthy food blessings the Lord provides!

Give us day by day our daily bread.

Luke 11:3

Feed on God's word most of all!

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Matthew 4:4

Today's Encouragement (20 December 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Each new day begins like a blank slate. The Lord knows what will be but we have to walk it out and make the best decisions and discernments in the Lord.

Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

Proverbs 27:1

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Matthew 6:33-34

Let's live in each day and make the most of it within the life the Lord has for us and what He has given to us.

(pretty flower creation God made above that a sister shared)

This explains a lot...

They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

1 John 4:5-6

And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

Luke 16:15

That reminds me how when you go out into the world you have to remember it's not going to be a popular message that people want to hear...Christ crucified and crucifying and losing their life. So you must go for God first. And most likely this will happen...

Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

Galatians 4:16

And this...

For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer.

And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.

Psalms 109:4-5

But thankfully we have the Lord who we are working for and not for results for ourselves. We are just His tools...to do His duty and reasonable service for.

I was pondering how the power of God will be shown in our lives. When we each come to the Lord in full surrender and become His child, a lot must change. Some things/areas may be closer to being right and may change just a little to be right and other things may need to go a long way to be in line with what God wants from us. The areas that require a great change may therefore show more of God's power! We all have strengths and weaknesses and in our weaknesses the Lord can show Himself and His strength!

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

2 Corinthians 12:9

And this culture, we know how far from God it is! Much must be shed from peoples lives in order for them to strive for God's high standard. We know many will seek to enter but will not be able. Let us keep examining our lives and make sure there is not one thing we aren't willing to change for our worthy Saviour!

I had bus travel back home today...

And quite a few gospel cards went out. And I got to talk a little to three women.

Let us be flourishing in the faith like the garden here.

Here's the next scripture reading to edify...

Always good to pay close attention to how Jesus handled satan's attack and scripture twisting.

Keep fighting the good fight of faith as good soldiers of Jesus Christ with your armour on sisters!

Today's Encouragement (19 December 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Ephesians 1:3-4

I hope you are striving on in all truth and growing in the Lord, sisters! Holding fast and pressing on, not falling back either. We know this faith life is one of action both physically and spiritually. We have a battle to fight. Not a physical one of war as that is not God's will for His saints at all, but one of spiritual warfare against sin and wickedness and the evil one...and our fleshly mind/heart.

I shared some scriptures on battle and running our race etc...

Hope those edify and bless you!

Peaceful creation video from where I was reading the above scriptures...

We know we shall be greatly misunderstood in this life and thought ill of but let's not care about that but what the Lord cares about as we want to please Him! Let's be willing to bear the reproach of Christ and do it boldly and without shame! God knows the truth!

Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

Hebrews 11:25-26

We can praise God for the truth and light and knowledge we have that can set others free instead of worrying about what our flesh feels like!

God's glory...that should be in the forefront of our minds in all the decisions we need to make. And especially when faced with hard things or things that could make us get in our flesh. Let us think of God's glory and others before ourselves and our feelings.

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Galatians 6:7-10

I was pondering this scripture...

And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.

And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:

For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.

Luke 21:2-4

And how we have to give our all to the Lord, our whole life. And our best in our abilities is all we can give and the Lord sees our willing heart to grow and even if we feel we are weak and imperfect in areas we do our best with what the Lord gave us. In fact, we never want to think we are good in something ourselves as that could be pride but if we do have gifts, give God the glory as all we have is from Him! And we can use those gifts to bless others and use them well in His service.

If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

1 Peter 4:11

Glory to Him!

Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.

1 Corinthians 14:12

Keep striving on as good soldiers sisters!

Salutations sisters!

I trust you're striving on in the Lord today!

For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

Philippians 1:29

Christ is worthy of all we have to endure here amen sisters?! Very worthy.

Sometimes you just think more deeply about how much strangers and pilgrims we are on this earth as saints. It's how we should feel and we do! Like those who speak a different language with no one around you who speaks your own. I can't help thinking also about how Adam must have felt when he was naming the animals and there wasn't any of his kind there. So few are the true saints which we can speak the same language of truth and have fellowship in the Lord with the same goal of glorifying Him! But that's just on this earth and if we endure we shall be with Him and all His saints! But we can rejoice to be set apart for God and know this truth and share it to others who want it!

On the subject of child training...God's ways are always good and we see the destruction worldwide that happens when they are not followed. It's a rare thing to see any children being raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord and not for their flesh and love of the world. Praises to sisters who work diligently to please the Lord in this area too! God is glorified!

I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.

1 Timothy 5:14

For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.

Hebrews 10:1

Praise God to be able to know about the good things that were to come! We know that is Christ and His new covenant and the mystery revealed in it all! We do not have to live in the shadows any more! We sure are blessed to know this but also will be held very accountable to it all.

He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

Hebrews 10:28-29

Today's Encouragement (18 December 2023)

Greetings sisters!

One more day the Lord allowed us to have. He is the giver and sustainer and taker of life.

It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

Lamentations 3:22

That's something to ponder on...whenever someone dies it is the Lord who took their life...allowing whatever circumstance to be to do that. Let us humbly remember who we are compared to Him and not ever question anything He does. This is His world and He can do whatever He likes with it, right sisters!

God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

Acts 17:24-28

He is Lord of lords and King of kings! Let us humbly serve Him!

My day has been a busy one of Titus 2 serving works. We sisters know we all have such duties to do and we want to be faithful in whatever the Lord has for us!

Here's a quick walk and talk encouragement video to help us set our minds in things above...

We know we find ourselves in the midst of 'that time' of year for the world/unbelievers (which includes false converts). We know we are sent forth into the world and are like sheep among wolves. We won't be ever able to avoid what the world does but we can stand against it, set apart unto God and holiness, and be salt and light and ready to give an answer of the hope we have and that we have been set free! We know Christmas is a lie and surrounded by many false and dark sinful ways that no saint would have anything to do with. One thing too is that God never told us to set aside a special day to celebrate Jesus' birth. In fact, birthday celebrations themselves have pagan roots so the saints don't do those either. If you truly love God and the truth you will flee such false ways to worship God in Spirit and truth and do what He has told us to do!

A righteous man hateth lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.

Righteousness keepeth him that is upright in the way: but wickedness overthroweth the sinner.

Proverbs 13:5-6
