Daughters for His Glory

Today's Encouragement (21 October 2022)

Greetings in the Lord!

How are my sisters on this day? Of most importance I hope you're strong in the faith and not being weakened by anything. So many challenges can come up in this life but with a strong faith in God we can overcome all things in His power!

My sewing work continues...

Praise God for giving us the strength and means to do whatever we can!

Hope all my sisters' Titus 2 works are going well! We don't care what the world thinks of us do we as it matters what God commands and thinks of us doesn't it! And we bring Him glory by being obedient. And one day we shall answer to Him alone and not all the people around us. In fact, all their knees will be bowing to our glorious Saviour won't they. Hope they seek Him and repent while there's still time.

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
Philippians 2:9-10

Cozy bowl of soup on a cool night...

And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
Acts 2:46-47

I love that scripture. It shows a great picture of love and zeal for the Lord doesn't it!

And I wanted to share this scripture with us today...

Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.
Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
Revelation 2:1-7

Much to ponder in there and to examine our own lives too. Pretty sobering these warnings but so glad we have them. And especially in these times where people are just drifting along without caring, thinking they're safe in Jesus by just some vague belief in Him. Glad we can know better and strive for our Saviour who is so worthy!

Today's Encouragement (20 October 2022)

Hello sisters!

I'm back here to share some simple encouragement to you! Was another busy day for me. Hope you're all doing well and striving on in the Lord!

Roses for my sisters:-) And glory to God for creating them!

I share a few scriptures today and some from a sister too. Hope they edify you! Much to ponder in them all.

But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

Romans 7:6

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Romans 8:13

But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
Romans 13:14

So glad to have His written Word! And to know a few saints who love His Word and obey it! What a joy to have fellowship in such good eternal holy things!

Well I really must go but I hope all you sisters, scattered across the world, are standing strong and stedfast in the faith! May the Lord give you strength to stand for Him without compromise in a wicked and dark and deceived generation. Hold fast...till He comes!

But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
Revelation 2:25-26

Today's Encouragement (19 October 2022)

Greetings sister saints!

Hoping you're well today and standing strong and firm unwavering in the truth of Christ!

But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
Hebrews 3:6

I'm sharing a glimpse into my day of work. I'm sure you all have many good works to do in your different lives but we all just do what is set before us to be done. Maybe this encourages you in yours knowing God's daughters are busy in good things!

Last two days efforts of sewing work...

Satisfying whenever each one is finished! Praise God!

And that's especially so despite quite a few different sewing challenges like this where I don't even know where the rest of it went it flew apart so fast lol!

But such is life and we just keep going and being patient!

More garden blessings....

Made some into beetroot, carrot, and apple juice...

Very pretty and healthy too!

Saw these two lizards when I was taking the pulp from the juicing to the chickens, so I fed them some too!

Funny cow 'asking' for a drink...

Reminded me of this...

And when she had done giving him drink, she said, I will draw water for thy camels also, until they have done drinking.

And she hasted, and emptied her pitcher into the trough, and ran again unto the well to draw water, and drew for all his camels.

Genesis 24:19-20

More garden work...

I dug up some hid potatoes when I was weeding...

And it made me smile as it was just me home and I didn't need to cook a full meal so it was perfect timing for my evening meal. Like finding hid treasures! God provides (even though there's plenty of other food in the house it was just nice)!

Nothing compared to this though...

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
Matthew 13:44

That's the very best treasure there is and I know my sisters agree!

Thought these bees drinking from water in deep holes in the rock were interesting...

Sounds funny too!

Love seeing those grasses blowing in the wind too...

Peaceful creations just doing what they're supposed to!

And the sun sets on my day...

Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening. O Lord, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

Psalm 104:23-24

So that's some of my day in the Lord! It was a busy one! And I know my sisters are out there going about all your good Titus 2 godly woman works! As a sister and I often remind each other and rejoice about...we're not doing bad or vain works any more!! Glory to God!

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
1 Peter 1:18-19

Well I must go and get some rest that the Lord gives and get my strength up for another day's work if I get it. I hope all your works go well and that you're abiding in Christ! Hold fast sisters!

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

Today's Encouragement (18 October 2022)

Greetings sisters!

I'm back with one more day the Lord gave! I hope each of you are back too and serving the Lord in this day!

I've had another busy day of sewing and animal work but definitely not too busy to come here to edify my sisters!

I was reading this scripture this morning and thinking about what they did (to address looking after the widows needs) and how they didn't want to get distracted from the Word of God on physical needs.

Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.
Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.
But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
Acts 6:2-4

Just thought it was interesting.

And since on that subject I share this scripture too...

Honour widows that are widows indeed.
But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.
Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day.
But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.
And these things give in charge, that they may be blameless.
But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
Let not a widow be taken into the number under threescore years old, having been the wife of one man,
Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints' feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work.
1 Timothy 5:3-10

We're given so many instructions for all kinds of situations! What a blessing! And what a nice picture in that last verse of a godly woman! And that's us today even if we may not be widows...because it all adds up and it is a long track record of good works!

Here I am sharing some pretty spring pictures from my day, and scriptures on joy! Hope they encourage you and make you even more joyful in the Lord! And glory to God for His creation too!

And my soul shall be joyful in the Lord: it shall rejoice in his salvation.
Psalm 35:9

And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
Isaiah 35:10

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
Isaiah 12:2-3

Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts.

Hope those blessed you! God's Word and ways are so good! What a joy to know Him and to be serving Him with all our heart! And we keep growing up in Him and learning more from the depths of His Word!

Today's Encouragement (17 October 2022)

Hello sister saints...holy daughters of the most high God!

How are you today? Hoping you're walking in truth and standing strong on the Rock!

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Philippians 2:5-12

I love that scripture...and the reminder to follow after Christ's humble example as a servant to others.

My day has been a really busy one with...

Housework...

Sewing...

Gardening...

Well at least starting on that big jungle of weeds! I know my sisters would all pitch in and help get things done...and we'd all help one another if we could! But we know we're all scattered...few and far between...but the thought is nice too:-)

Glad to have many good things to keep myself occupied in. And I'm sure you sisters do too! Hope it all goes well for you.

It's getting late so I must go and get some rest for another busy day if the Lord gives it to me.

Hold fast sisters...to Christ who is the truth!

Today's Encouragement (16 October 2022)

Hello sister saints!

How are you today? I'm hoping you're standing strong in the faith!

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Ephesians 6:16

I had a good and fruitful day and I hope your day is going along well with your Titus 2 works and whatever duties the Lord has called you to!

Beautiful spring day here...

Glory to God!

Good day to work in the garden...

...clearing the ground of weeds for planting

And harvesting more blessings..

God provides!

What a blessing to be able to grow and eat things from the ground! And we don't want to take this forgranted as we know it all is a great creation God put together and sustains. He provides water and sunshine and nutrients and gives us the strength and health to 'till the ground' so to speak.

Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
Genesis 3:23

Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

Today's Encouragement (15 October 2022)

Greetings sisters!

I'm back in another day God gave me! And you must be too! Each day God gives us is one to live for Him and give Him glory by living an obedient godly life.

I thought this scripture was precious...

Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant. Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight.
Psalm 119:76-77

He is so good and merciful to us. How can we not humbly serve Him.

I went fabric shopping today for another large sewing order I have to do...

It's a blessing to be able to buy fabric to make into biblical clothing!

It's seems like a darker time in the shops this time of year with BOTH pagan Christmass and Halloween at the same time. But the world does what it does but far be it from God's holy people to be dabbling in or associating with anything of the sort.

Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
Ephesians 5:7-8 & 11

God's creations (put together by man who is also one of His creations) is pretty...

Glory to the Creator!

How beautiful! And yet so many say there is no God! How could chance or time or nothing create that intricate and detailed beauty! No!

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Genesis 1:1

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
John 1:1-3

He is the Creator...and our Saviour!

Garden blessings He made to feed mankind too...

Those snow peas are SO tall! And very fruitful too! Let that be like us sisters standing strong and flourishing in the Lord and bearing much good fruit!
