Today's Encouragement (22 August 2022)

Hello sisters!

Hope you're having a fruitful and joyous day in the Lord today! Sometimes we need to stop and ponder to remember the truth of how many blessings we have! We have many precious gifts and truths in the Lord and this life after Him is one of great reward if we overcome!

The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.

More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

Psalm 19:9-11

Amen His ways are so good!

Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

John 12:42-43

May we sisters not love the praise of men more than the praise of God. I was pondering what goes on in the world (including claimed believers) with so much people pleasing. But we don't want to have that and must strive to root it all our of our lives for God's glory.

Got a skirt sewn today...

It was a nice cozy indoors wet day for the most part. But what a blessing rain is!

This tree was weighed down by the heavy weight of the water in all it's flowers...

The Lord upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.

The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.

Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

Psalm 145:14-16
He is a good God!

Thank you sister for the scriptures...

Hold fast sisters! Let's keep on guard and keep examining ourselves and striving after our Saviour!

May your day be a blessed and joyous one!

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela

Today's Encouragement (21 August 2022)

Greetings godly sisters!

How are you all this day? I hope you are well and striving on in this faith life!

I was thinking about this scripture about how we are now ashamed of our past lives before we were following Christ in new life. It's definitely not something we are in any way pleased with.

For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.

What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

Romans 6:20-22

Praise God to be set free from serving sin! And now we have holy fruit!

And then I was thinking about how vain and empty and useless our lives used to be.

Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

Isaiah 55:2

Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity.

Ecclesiastes 12:8

But praise God to be living for eternal things that never fade away!

If we loved the world and the things in it we couldn't love God too...even if we claimed we did.

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

1 John 2:15-17

And I see the greater depths of how close I used to be to the world even though I didn't do all the so called extreme worldly things like TV or movies etc. But praise God for His Word and Spirit to guide us all back to the truth and we leave behind the ways of the world that lead to death.

The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.

Proverbs 10:22

Amen and we sure are the richest people in the world...we saints are! We have an inheritance with Christ and eternal treasures in the heavens!

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Revelation 21:7

It was such a beautiful spring-like day today! Awesome flowers and sunshine! Glory to God! His changing seasons are amazing!

Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.

Psalm 115:1

Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
Psalm 29:2

Cute new little calf too...

All of God's creations doing what He created them to do!

Let us be doing likewise as godly holy women not in rebellion against Him!

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

James 4:7

Hold fast sister saints and keep walking in truth!

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

3 John 1:4

Today's Encouragement (20 August 2022)

Greetings godly sisters!

Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

2 John 1:3

I'm back briefly sharing a little edification for my sister saints...the ones I know and the ones I don't. I'm sure you're all out there shining your lights and even if we will never know of each other on this earth, one day we shall be gathered home with the Lord!

Just a few pictures of my days...

Good healthy food blessings...

And making carob powder...

That was quite a process but interesting and the final product is yum!

And more good food blessings God provided...

Travel home today...

Beautiful sunny day it was.

Praise God!

And thank you sister for sharing all these scriptures in our talks today. I appreciate them all as His Word is good and so true!

Those are all great scriptures! I'm thankful we have His Word and truth! And thankful for saints who love and treasure it!

And thank you sister for this picture...

Praise God we can know the way and have the Spirit to guide us!

I must go as my day is almost over and I'm sure you're all keeping occupied in many good works of your own!

Hold fast sisters! We have been warned to be on guard and have a seriousness about this life in Christ lest we get swept away. So let's keep fighting the good fight of faith not growing weary and giving up!

Strive on sisters!

Love in Christ,

Today's Encouragement 19 August 2022)

Greetings sisters!

I'm back again with a new day to seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness! Hope your days are going well or went well in the Lord.

So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

Psalm 90:12

Thank you sister for the scripture picture...

I'm glad the Lord has not left us alone...but done everything He can and made a way for us back to the Father! And He is with us now!

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

John 14:26-27

And I share a few older scripture pictures again to edify and encourage us...

His Word (and creation) is good! I'm thankful for all we have and the truth we have been shown and how merciful God has been to us! Praise His Name!

It's been a busy long day for me so I must go now but I hope to be back tomorrow if the Lord wills. Hold fast to the truth sisters!

Love in Christ,

Today's Encouragement (18 August 2022)

Greetings sisters!

A new day is here...and so am I as the Lord has allowed!

But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

1 Corinthians 15:10

I read Colossians 3 to edify us in the Word today...

May it encourage and bless you! His Word and ways are good!

As I was walking down the driveway today, I had to look where I was going (as there are rocks in it to trip on) but I wanted to look up too and see the sky and think about eternal things. It made me think how we are to set out affections on things above yet we still need to get through this life being on guard and aware of where we are walking. Many things abound and lurk to trip us up and deceive but let us keep our eyes on the Lord and be strengthened in His Word always. And what a great blessing to have the brethren to press us all on!

Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

2 Peter 3:17-18

And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Luke 21:28

Praise God and what a joy that will be after the trials before it! He is coming back sisters! Our God reigns!

Thank you sisters for sharing these scriptures...

That's us sisters, diligent in our works as godly keeper at home servant women!

Beautiful flower creations a sister shared. Glory to God!

And it's time for me to go but...hold fast sisters! Keep striving on against all enemies of your souls!

Peace and joy in Christ,

Sister Michaela

Today's Encouragement (17 August 2022)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you are all holding fast today and pressing on!

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Matthew 10:28

I think of all the misplaced fear in this world...people are fearing pretty much everything except God. But may we sisters have our priorities right, fearing God which leads to obedience to Him. And we work to subdue all our other fears that may come don't we. If we are in Christ, trusting in the Lord we need to not fear what man or any other creature or circumstance may do to us. We want to have a strong faith and trust in Him.

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.

Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

Psalm 27:1-3

We don't want to be like the disciples in the boat in the storm fearing either do we.

Thank you faithful sister for your love in sharing His Word!

Those are all awesome scriptures! Praise God for His Word and His ways! And I appreciate those who treasure God's Word and truth too!

Keep pressing on sisters!

For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Galatians 6:8-9

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela
