Greetings sister saints!
I'm dropping in again to hopefully edify you with some of His Word. Usually I have no idea what I will have to share here but I just start and there's always something in His Word. Other times I drop things off in here that I think of during my day. But however it is I hope it encourages you in the Lord to keep enduring in the faith!
I've been having relatively busy days but not hectic or anything thankfully. Looking after animals, watering gardens, sewing, cleaning and such like. I'll have a catch up picture post eventually Lord willing. I hope all your duties are going well in whatever life the Lord has you in.
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.
I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers;
Which have borne witness of thy charity before the church: whom if thou bring forward on their journey after a godly sort, thou shalt do well:
3 John 1:2-6
That's a good scripture! Indeed it is so refreshing hearing of others walking in truth. There's such a lack of it in these days. People have turned their ears to fables.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.2 Timothy 4:3-4
But in ways there's no new thing under the sun...
None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.Isaiah 59:4
Man's heart is wicked. Oh how it needs to be renewed!
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.Psalm 51:10
May we sisters hold so fast to the truth.
Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.2 Timothy 1:13
There's a lot of unsound words and doctrines going around that's for sure! But may we...
But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:Titus 2:1
May we feed on His Word and live by every word of it!
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.2 Timothy 3:16-17
And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.Luke 4:4
Keep walking in the truth, my sisters! And if you're not then you need to repent with urgency. Jesus is the truth so may we follow hard after Him!
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.2 Corinthians 13:14
