Today's Encouragement (28 April 2022)

Greetings sisters!

Here I am back again as the Lord allows me to. It's a blessing to have many different forms of communication and to share edifying content and encouragement to press on in the faith.

I was reading this and it stands out the great love apostle Paul had and we know we all are to have also as God teaches us to love one another.

For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you.

2 Corinthians 2:4

And we see elsewhere about the tears he had for warning others of danger. That's a different kind of love to what people today call love where it's mostly about getting along and all overlooking differences in beliefs and the truth and such.

The truth and the things of God are worth striving for and holding fast to aren't they sisters. We have the examples of those who went before who were all about the truth and sound doctrine and warning of error and falsehoods.

Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

Acts 20:31

I love this scripture...

Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

2 Timothy 2:19

Isn't that such a comfort, sisters, knowing the Lord knows His own? Of course we know this as He knows all things but it's a comforting thought nonetheless. And amen let everyone who claims the name of Christ depart from sin. It's tiring isn't it sisters when we hear anyone making light of sin...instead of wanting to flee it all. I wonder where they draw the line of how much sin we can keep doing wilfully and still go to heaven.

I was reading this and it's definitely what we see. People loving and living for all kinds of pleasures.

Reminds me of this too about the living dead widow...
But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.

1 Timothy 5:6
Instead we are to be dead to the world and all it's fleshly lusts which war against the soul aren't we sisters. And ready to endure hardness for Christ.

The orchard fruit trees are losing their leaves...

Such is the cycle of life in God's creation. What a great creation that all works together in so many different ways. Glory to God!

The ants were busy today...

Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.
Proverbs 6:6-8

And that's something we sisters are often talking about how we just go and do what we should and have been created for and don't rebel against the Creator.

Butterfly at the clothes line...

Little creation to look at while going about my Titus 2 works. And there's always something isn't there sisters! Interesting how the different sides of the wing are different colours.

Little lambs to feed...

Praise and thanks to God for sending His beloved Son as the Lamb to die for our sins instead of all the lambs and other animals we would need to sacrifice to Him for our sins. And reminds me again of how we still have to sacrifice in some way today...ourselves as living sacrifices unto God submitting our whole life to His service in obedience to Him.

Such a pretty time of year...

More glory to God for all things sisters!

Well I must go. Hope each of you have a great day in the Lord and rejoice in Him and all He has done and given us and to be set free from so much!

Hold fast sisters! Let us keep pressing on having nothing before our God and doing His will, keeping His Word, abiding in His love. He is worthy!

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela
