Today's Edification (8 March 2024)

Greetings sisters! 

I hope you are...STANDING...today! 

Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Revelation 3:11

Let's keep clinging to what we have...the light and truth revealed to us and keep seeking to grow more and more into His image! 

Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.
Luke 8:18

And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds. (And they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds). For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him.
Luke 19:24-26

Let's remember we are in a spiritual battle sisters. And sometimes you wonder or see glimpses of it perhaps in the timing of certain things. I'm sure you've seen that in your own lives too. We know from Job some of the things that go on behind the scenes. 

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. 

And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. 

And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

Job 1:6-8

Just remember that sisters and let's be on guard and taking heed and not ignorant of his devices. 

For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things. 

To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; 

Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

2 Corinthians 2:9-11

Had to try to cover the almost ripe pumpkins, that were getting sunburned, with bits of shade cloth...

We have several days of around 40C (104F) ahead so hope those help save them from it. Real summer finally has come here with heat and super dry but it's technically autumn...so cold and more rain should be on the way soon! Awesome creations of the seasons! And year after year they roll around just as they were created. 

I've had a busy day in many physical things and helping and such. But refreshing to come back here and share in the things of God and Titus 2 godly woman works. 

I'm sure my sisters would love to help here...

I was thinking of that scripture. It's a high calling we have. I was thinking how the world (including the church) is watching us saints closely. Do they see unfeigned love among us? Do they see 490x forgiveness among us? Do they see all these things... 

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 

Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 

And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Colossians 3:12-15

Shame on us if they don't see that. We know we have much striving on to do don't we in many different areas. Let's keep searching our hearts and doing what we should and the best we can with what we have. 

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:13-14

We are blessed with scriptures on how we are to relate to God, to the saints, to the world, to government, to disobedient believers and everyone else. Well we have many commandments but we also have many discernments and judgements to make within that and in how we actually live them out. May the Lord help us in these perilous times. 

Let us keep testing all things sisters and do what is right before God no matter the cost! 

I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.
1 Timothy 5:21

 

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

James 3:17
