Today's Encouragement (6 March 2022)

Greetings sister saints!

I'm back here to send a little encouragement to my sisters in Christ who love the Lord above all else. My sisters who are willing to lose all for Christ...even the things that cause a great sense of loss and hurt. But we know Christ is so much more worthy and the gain will be greater in the life to come! God is the Creator and He owns us. We know we are to love Him above everything else. So that means we don't compromise in loving Him (which we learn is keeping His commandments) to keep any treasures or things we love on this earth. Think of the men that Jesus called to follow Him...they were working their jobs and probably had families and such. But they dropped their work and followed Christ. I know Jesus isn't here on earth but we still have been called to follow Him.

I was thinking about this scripture...

Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Matthew 13:30

The wheat (saints) and tares (ungodly) living together on earth for now. And I was thinking about that and it's what we see now because we live on this earth amongst the wicked don't we. And how merciful is our God and His purposes are not to be questioned and are past finding out! I'm glad He told us so much and by faith we accept it and trust His plans and promises.

I love to see corn plants...

They're so green and refreshing and awesome creations...like grass that grow so tall and so fast! And the sound of the leaves rustling in the wind is nice too. And they're growing blessings of good food! What an awesome creation!

Here's a peek at the bees in their hive...

I know they're important in food production too with pollination and such. It's amazing how all God's creation works together! If you take out one thing...then other things suffer. Well not everything but if you took out water or sunlight...well we know what would happen. And it wouldn't be good at all!

Makes me think of people taking out parts of God's Word...when instead we are to live by every Word and obey it all.

I made some pear sauce today...

And preserved it in jars to keep longer...

I don't know what to call 'that process' sometimes...we've tended to call it preserving but others call it bottling or canning so anyway whatever it is, it's a blessing to be able to do. We have many other methods of keeping food longer don't we; refrigeration, freezing, drying and such. And we Titus 2 women are blessed to be the ones most often dealing with such things...the essential 'daily bread' so to speak.

Thank you faithful sister for these scripture pictures...

We love that too don't we and want to magnify Him.

Reminded me of this...

According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

Philippians 1:20-21

I love that...Paul's desire for Christ to be magnified in his life or death.

Yes...we must hold fast to the truth mustn't we sisters! We know no lie is of the truth!

A saint sent this scripture the other day and it fits in here...

That is a great one to remember. It says Christ was born and came into the world to bear witness unto the truth. And those of the truth hear His voice...like sheep hearing their shepherd. Interesting that many tend to focus only on Christ coming to die for us but we see there's much more.

I must go and do some other pressing duties yet tonight so I must leave it there...with much love and encouragement for you my sisters to stand strong, strive on, hold fast, overcome, endure and not grow weary in well doing!

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela
