Another Day in the Lord

Greetings sisters!

A new day is here and it's time for me to write another post here on my blog. God has our days numbered and we don't know how many we have. Each one is a blessing of life to be given. We know since man sinned death is in the world and it is coming for all of us (unless our Lord returns). Death, that last enemy that shall be destroyed and that Christ came to defeat. What hope there is for God's people to have eternal life! Sisters we are spiritually alive from the dead aren't we too! What a miracle that is. He is our life!

But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

Romans 6:17-18

I like that...obeying from the heart.

Perfect...I like thinking of that. We sisters strive to be backing up our faith with the works of obedience we are to be doing as godly women. We know willful disobedience is never acceptable with our Lord and we never want to be in that situation. We know as we mature in our walks we have much to learn and many situations arise that are not specifically addressed in God's Word. But from our knowledge of His Word, the guidance, and wisdom we can make choices in what we will decide is the godly way to handle a situation. And as some of us sisters have been discussing about liberty and conscience issues and how we don't judge others for things that are not matters of sin or false ways. As we all mature we will make decisions for our own lives and how we best go about living in this world and what choices we make within the freedom we have in Christ.

O love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer. Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.

Psalm 31:23-24

Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

Psalm 60:11

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.

Psalm 20:7

Amen sisters...we trust in Him and not in man, freedoms, or politics, or anything else but God.

I was trying out a recipe for golden milk...

We wanted to make some chai tea mix but there were ingredients we don't have so this may be a good substitute. A sister gave me the idea as she makes it but there's many variations to try. What a great variety of foods and spices the Lord made for us to use and this is supposed to have many health benefits too.

(Thank you sister for adding scriptures the the pictures.)

Amen...He is worthy to be praised!

Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

Philippians 1:11

What precious things that God has done for us hasn't He sisters!

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Not of works, lest any man should boast.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:4-10

What undeserved mercy and grace He bestowed upon us in Christ! Let us humbly serve and obey Him for all He has done for us and we have the blessed hope if we endure! Press on in Him sisters! Hold fast to God's Word and let's lay aside every weight and sin and run with patience this race...until the end!

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

Hebrews 12:1-3

Let us all look to our Saviour and encourage one another on as we can. All of us sisters have our sights set on things above and seeking first God's kingdom don't we. And that includes being obedient in our Titus 2 works too doing them unto the Lord. It's what He wants from His daughters and not what the world expects or wants us to do or even our flesh sometimes but we fight that down and do our works with joy unto Him.

May we sisters be the opposite of this...

For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

John 12:43

Be living and doing and saying for the praise of God and not men. God and His ways are first for us. And we certainly may have to do things that are definitely not pleasing to men in order to be obedient to the Lord. And that can be hard to do but our Lord is watching and sees and knows our hearts and motives. We want them all to be for Him...even if it may seem like doing something unloving to people around us our love for God is to be way higher than for people.

Well I must go sisters. I hope you are holding fast to the pure ways of God and keep up your labours unto Him.

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela
