Greetings sisters!
I'm dropping in again to share a little encouragement with you! My day has been a relatively busy one but always time to drop in here so far as the Lord allows! I hope you are pressing on and seeking first the kingdom of God!
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.Matthew 6:33
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.Colossians 3:1-2
Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
2 Corinthians 5:6-10
Let us be faithfully pleasing our Master while we walk here, absent from Him, by faith. We don't need signs and wonders...we need strong faith! Let us have childlike faith, trusting all the unknowns to our heavenly Father. Reminds me of what Jesus said here too...
And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.Acts 1:7
Some things just are not for us to know. But let us be faithful in the truth we do know and keep seeking His will for us from the Word. He has told us so much! I'm thankful for all that is written.
Keep soldiering on sisters! Let's remember the trials of this life are not worthy to be compared to the glory to come! Hold fast! Love to you in the Lord our Saviour.
