Salutations to my sisters!
Another day to be in the Lord! ☀
I hope each and every one of you are seeking first God's kingdom and righteousness and pressing through whatever challenges are in your life. We all have some don't we so none of us are alone! You're not alone, my sister! And think about our very own Saviour who became a man...first a baby and then all through to adulthood bearing the normal aspects of being human (yet without sin). Even though He is God...He knows what it's like to be human.
For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
Hebrews 2:11, 17-18
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.Hebrews 4:15
God is so good to give such an unspeakable gift to the world! Whosoever may come to Him and find cleansing if they repent!
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.John 3:15
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.Revelation 22:17
Pondering the Lord guiding our steps...
The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.
Psalm 37:23-24
Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.Psalm 119:133
A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.Proverbs 16:9
We sure want Him to guide and lead us amen sisters?! We go nowhere good without Him.
A reproof entereth more into a wise man than an hundred stripes into a fool.Proverbs 17:10
Yeah we sisters who are humbly seeking to obey the Lord and fear Him don't need much to be corrected in the right way. I mean if someone even mentions something we go searching our heart to see if we need to change anything. We want to obey His Word. Of course there's many things to discern and different convictions we may each have but if the Word sets out a command so clearly we love to obey it. Sometimes there may be things we aren't seeing or deeply rooted things that may need more work but with the Spirit and our conscience our heart is guided in the way of truth and obedience. What a blessing!
And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.John 10:16
I love that...Jesus bringing together into one fold all His saints around the world as there is only one body.
So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.Romans 12:5
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.1 Corinthians 12:13
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.Colossians 3:15
And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:Ephesians 2:16
Pondering some scriptures on drawing nigh to God and how we actually do that...
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.James 4:8
For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.Hebrews 7:19
The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.Psalm 34:18
The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.Psalm 145:18
We are blessed with His Word!
Let's us depart from iniquity now...
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.2 Timothy 2:19
...lest we be told to depart as workers of iniquity later...
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.Matthew 7:23
Yeah this will be my garden view for the next five months or so...
Stinging nettle jungles. Just one challenge of this fallen world. Of course some people choose to spend the time on reusing them for good and of course you can. There's so many here that the compost heap or the burning pile is the best place for them! Some people make them into liquid fertilizer too. I guess some things in this life can have good and bad sides to them. But we sisters be cheerful anyway 🙂 no matter the trials and be thankful for the Lord's mercy in letting us live even if the earth is cursed.
And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

And thankful most of all for providing us a spotless Lamb and a Saviour in Jesus!
Looks like some headcovering sewing may be coming up here Lord willing...
I got to ship another sewing order on my way home yesterday too so I was glad taking my sewing shop along was fruitful and I plan to do that everytime I travel to the children's. Thankful for whatever I can do and we want to be faithful in all we do have right sisters.
And got to deal with this with my store occasionally...
It's a complex world especially when sending something internationally. But it's their world and we try to do the best we can.

The hen laid all the eggs hidden under a shrub and hatched them. There's fifteen I think! Awesome creations!
Lil lamb to feed too...
All sorts of works keeping me occupied in my day. Thankful for health and strength to do it all and thankful for good works and not bad ones.
Yeah onion soup and pumpkin chicken curry tonight. Blessings of food the Lord provides to be thankful for. So much variety we all have and not manna every day which would be great too! We have zero and less than that reasons to complain!
Let us be humbly thankful to have God's beloved Son as our Advocate. Through Him we can find peace with God. I'm so thankful for Christ's work for us His children.
Love to my sisters who do the Lord's will and also to anyone who may hate me and everyone in between too! We have a high calling to love everyone don't we sisters. Our reward will be great if we do. We want no harm to them or anyone and if we can, we share the way to eternal life with them or warn of error. But I remember Paul saying something to the effect of "The more I love you, the less I am loved". And we know he asked some if he had become their enemy for telling the truth. But so it is and let's keep striving to attain this perfection sisters. And yes there is to be a great fervent unfeigned love among us believers. It's to be a sign to the world of Jesus' disciples as He taught us to love. Strive on in all areas sisters!
For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
