Today's Encouragement (6 January 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I'm back here again for a bit. I hope you're strong in the Lord. And not compromising for absolutely anything! I know people can compromise to be able to stay with or avoid persecution from family and friends, or to have fellowship, or to get a spouse, or to keep a job, or to try to 'win' people to 'Christ'. But we must compromise for nothing right?!

I love these scriptures and thinking about how we truly have a sound mind and true wisdom in the Lord. And that's even though the world calls it/us foolish.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:7

But he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but speak forth the words of truth and soberness.

Acts 26:25

I tried a zucchini smoothie today...
It was good!

Harvesting potato blessings which are like hid treasures!

Physical temporal treasures nonetheless. And not at all compared to seeking and finding the true treasure of invaluable price of the kingdom of God!

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:

Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
Matthew 13:44-46

Even more garden blessings to use...

God provided daily bread again! But more importantly the true bread that came down from heaven and the water of life in His Son!

Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
Isaiah 55:1-3

Let's keep labouring for that which is eternal amen sisters?! Don't grow weary as we know there is going to be joys and sorrows, pain, persecution and sufferings, and peace and comfort and hope in the midst of it all in this life! Hold fast to the end!

Love in Christ,
