Today's Encouragement (2 April 2022)

Hello to my sisters!

Here I am back again and sharing a little encouragement. Hope you're all striving on in the Lord and His truth. It's a blessing to be godly women and doing all good things and not engaged in activities that are not pleasing to God anymore. It's a joy to be seeking things of the light and truth and not darkness or lies of man.

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

1 Timothy 6:11-12

I love that...follow righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

And similarly this...

Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

2 Timothy 2:22

And this also...

Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

1 Timothy 4:12

We see a pattern of what our life is meant to be focused on.

Thank you sister for sharing these scripture pictures...

The Lord is good to have provided for the poor and needy.

And most of all He provides for our eternal spiritual well being.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Luke 4:18

Praise Him for that!

Amen let us not be loving in word only but may our actions prove that love.

And we see some of what love is here...

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

And that's what we want to have as fruit of the Spirit in us isn't it.

Hold fast to the Word sisters! May the Lord bless, lead, and guide you in His ways and give you peace!

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela
