Encouragement and My Day, March 6th

Good day sisters!

Another day gone to serve the Lord and live for Him. And another to come.

Are you strong in the Lord and rejoicing in Him today?

This morning I was reading this...

...and it struck me.

"And king Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty and two thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep: so the king and all the people dedicated the house of God."
2 Chronicles 7:5

Fathom that:

120,000 sheep 🐑

22,000 oxen 🐮

That is a LOT!

So think on the precious blood of our Saviour.

"By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified."
Hebrews 10:10-14

How powerful is that. And so many are ignoring it...so sad yet may we sisters be SO grateful that God gave us the way to come through Him and find forgiveness, mercy, and grace if we will follow Him and forsake our life.

"And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation."
Hebrews 9:22,26-28

Let us be looking for Him ready...and wise.

"Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so ; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh."
Matthew 25:1-13

I read this yesterday...and I'm grateful that brother Paul obeyed the Lord.

"And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do."

Acts 9:6

Praise God for the new creation he became! And God used him and we have much of God's commands recorded through him.

"Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you."
Philippians 4:9

And here's another woman doing good works...

"Then Abigail made haste, and took two hundred loaves, and two bottles of wine, and five sheep ready dressed, and five measures of parched corn, and an hundred clusters of raisins, and two hundred cakes of figs, and laid them on asses."
1 Samuel 25:18

And she went to feed some men.

I got some sewing done today. I was making some pillowcases for my shop.

And here's dinner/tea...

It's a potato tuna bake...with all kinds of vegetables.

It has lots of veggies from the garden here...which is such a blessing.

Things from the garden...

Pumpkin
Zucchini
Onion
Garlic
Parsley
Capsicum
Carrot

Things from the shop...

Potatoes
Bread
Tuna
Cheese
Salt

And I made enough for tomorrow too:-)

And I had these most interesting carrots...which obviously had issues growing. The one looks like an octopus:-) They're the funniest ones I've ever seen (I don't think you'd find them in a shop though).

That's a bit from my day. And often us keeper at home days are "simple" but it is what we are to be doing. I'm pressing on in the Lord. Are you?

"Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:"
Hebrews 10:23-24

Love to you in Christ,

...from a daughter of God
