Hello sisters!
I hope you're holding fast in the true faith which was once delivered to the saints! Jesus Christ and His gospel is the only way and every other so called gospel is accursed as Paul wrote in no uncertain terms. Praise God for the Word where we find the truth in such a perverted age. And yes we must take in all the truth for today and not parts of it. Let's keep seeking after our good Shepherd sisters!
We know we must patiently endure and press on for now to receive the promise too!
And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.Hebrews 6:15
And while we may have life relatively easy compared to some we read about in the Word that in itself is something to fight against as it's easier to get complacent and not be so vigilant and such like if that makes sense. I know hard times can really be a blessing as you have to dig deep and ponder many things and you cling to the Lord and truth rejecting the falsehoods. We have to not get too comfortable here as we do not want our treasures and heart here on earth but in heaven with the Lord. I also think of how it says the widow that lives in pleasure is dead while she lives. We can think of Sodom as it says was full of food and abundance of idleness and other sins for which God destroyed it. We live in such a rich age that we too need to be careful don't we. We want to prepare our souls for eternity and deny the flesh of it's lusts and pleasures.
Here's some scriptures to edify us in this! His Word is always good for us as we live by every word of it!
And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
Luke 12:19-21
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?Matthew 16:26
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.Matthew 6:19-21

Just good to ponder as we had no choice which place and time we were born into but we do have a choice to be careful with how we live and walk through this world. We need a lot of wisdom from above. We know we are crucified with Christ and we are to seek first His kingdom and righteousness. Let's keep striving after the Lord and His holy ways sisters! That also affects how we do our duties as women doesn't it! Love to you in Him.
