Greetings sisters!
I hope you're pressing on after the Lord another day! Truly He has the words of eternal life and there is nowhere else to go! We have a lot of activity in this faith life as there's always something to work on. We know it's a fight of faith and there's crucifying of the flesh to do in Christ.
My day was a busy one so just dropping in to share some edifying for your day which probably is busy too! You can sometimes think of the bees, birds, and ants which are frequently going about their business working in what the Lord has for them. They work quite hard; bees making honey, birds building nests and feeding their young, ants gathering their food etc.
Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.Proverbs 6:6-8
We know God does not want us to be lazy and also wants us to be zealous of good works. It's good to have useful worthwhile works to keep busy in.
For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.
Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.
2 Thessalonians 3:10-13
Yes let us not grow weary but press on in the race!
I leave you with this scripture which is encouraging to how we want to be if everything may seem to be going bad around us at some time...
Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.Habakkuk 3:17-18
He is worthy to be rejoiced in for He has done all things well! Strive on my sisters. Love to you in the faith.
