There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.Romans 8:1
I hope this finds you pressing on stedfast in the faith and going about your duties the Lord has given you! What hope we have when we are in Christ and not walking after the flesh but the Spirit!
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.Romans 8:13
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.Galatians 5:16
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.Galatians 6:8
For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.Philippians 3:3
But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.Galatians 4:29
Good to ponder on those scriptures and keep crucifying the flesh as we know we are living sacrifices!
Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.1 Peter 2:5

Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.Philippians 2:3
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.Colossians 3:13
There's always things to examine in our lives and also to be thankful for God's good ways. I love His ways and I'm sure you do too!
I saw this scripture too...
And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.Exodus 23:8
And while it's in the Old Covenant that doesn't mean it doesn't have some good truth as we know there are things from the old spoken of in the new too. But I just often think how we know to be wary of some situations where money is involved. Indeed as this scripture says too...
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.1 Timothy 6:10-11

And his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted judgment.1 Samuel 8:3
He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;Isaiah 33:15
A wicked man taketh a gift out of the bosom to pervert the ways of judgment.Proverbs 17:23
Just shows there's nothing new under the sun and that man's heart is wicked and crooked. They surely won't be able to do that to God on judgement day though!
He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but he that hateth gifts shall live.Proverbs 15:27
Sadly Christianity today has become like a huge business and indeed many who claim His name are greedy of gain.
Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.Titus 1:11
Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
1 Timothy 6:5
But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.
Acts 8:20
And I saw this scripture too and no doubt we still are to do good to our enemies. We know that is taught in the New Testament which is a faith which works by love.
If thou meet thine enemy's ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again. If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him.Exodus 23:4-5
His Word is packed full of wisdom! Let us read and meditate in His Word and put to practice all that is in context for us today and as women.
I've had a busy day baking and doing housework and minding the littlest one mostly. It was such a lovely warmish winter's day and the air smelled so beautiful! I think I have travels back again tomorrow so Lord willing I hope to be back here edifying after that.
Keep fighting the good fight of faith my sisters! Be good soldiers of Jesus Christ enduring hardness...with patience and joy to serve the Lord!
But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.Luke 8:15
