Today's Edification (25 July 2024)

Hello to my sisters who are holy unto God!

It is an honour to be a daughter of the King of kings isn't it sisters?! Let us not take this lightly but seriously and do our best to represent our King. He gave us instructions as women didn't He and we want to be good handmaidens of His also. He is our Master and He is the One we take instructions from.

But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
Romans 6:22

I like this scripture...

And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.
Romans 15:14

May we too be full of goodness and able to admonish one another...in our place as women of course.

It is really loving to do that and humble willing hearts will receive and give admonishment in the fear of God and in godly love.

For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.
Romans 16:19

So that ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia. For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing.
1 Thessalonians 1:7-8

Those saints were good examples to many around them and abroad! May we be however we can and to whoever the Lord has in our lives...so He is glorified and others may see His light to walk in and so they can be set free from many bondages! The truth makes us free!

Let us keep being salty sisters. We refuse to be like the world around us and in doing so we say "No', those activities, actions, beliefs and traditions are not godly and lead to destruction.". Even if we aren't always saying it, as meek and quiet godly women, our actions can be seen and others are watching. But God is if not and we do all things unto Him.

I think of the godly men in the book of Daniel who refused the king's meat (which was contrary to God's law back then) and also refused to bow to the image of the king despite the threat of death as that king surely was not a kind or merciful one at all. May we stand strong also in a perverse and faithless generation.

May the Lord be our full portion and comfort sisters! We know we may well have to stand for the Lord completely alone. We can't think "Oh, I must be wrong if it's just me seeing this!". Let us cling to the truth as the days are perilous and Jesus said there will be few.

May He be sufficient for us and our hope and peace and comfort.

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
2 Corinthians 1:3
Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.
Psalm 69:20

Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass;

And forgettest the LORD thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?

Isaiah 51:11-13

Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
1 Thessalonians 5:11

And if we do have saints in our lives we can find comfort in them. Thus has God ordained and commanded that we do. We will not be close to the world and especially not believers in sin. We just go on, being pleasing to the Lord, shining as lights in a crooked generation and loving our neighbours and living peacefully and not wishing harm on anyone. We want all to come to repentance as God does too and is being long suffering.

Good to ponder committing ourselves into His hands...

Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
1 Peter 4:19
And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.
Luke 23:46

Let us truly trust in God, commit situations to Him knowing we cannot change many things. But He can! Let us take our requests to the Lord and be patient and keep praying and not fainting!

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Philippians 4:6
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
James 5:16

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
Luke 18:1,7
Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
James 5:13

Let us go to our heavenly Father and rely on Him in humble childlike faith.

I was thinking of the books God has.

Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin―; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written. And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.
Exodus 32:32-33
Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.
Psalm 69:28
Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
Psalm 139:16

Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
Malachi 3:16
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Revelation 3:5

And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?

And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
Revelation 5:1-2, 9
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Revelation 20:12

Truly, He is God and we are in His hands. May we humble ourselves under His mighty hands and remember He has power to destroy both soul and body and has the keys of hell and death. Let us labour to be found right with Him...acceptable and pleasing to Him through Christ.

I hope you're all pressing on stedfastly my sisters. I encourage you to do so...one more day and overcome in His unending strength! Lord willing I will be back edifying you here tomorrow. Look up sisters! His redemption, our salvation, draws nearer one way or another as our days move behind us one by one and our death or His return approaches.

Love in Christ,

Sister Chayil
