Greetings sisters who love the Lord!
I hope and trust that's what you're doing...keeping His Word! He is worthy of our whole life and it's not just so we can get to heaven but He deserves the glory, amen! We are His creatures and as His children He has bought us with a great price...the precious blood of His beloved Son.
Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:1 Peter 1:18-19
We have a high calling indeed! Let us strive our best to walk worthy of Him!

Revelation 6:15-17
That day is coming. Let us be diligent to be found of Him in peace and not be under His wrath.
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.2 Peter 3:14
And then this one is a comfort...
Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,2 Thessalonians 1:6-7
And this...
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Just keeping occupied in various good works...whatever each day brings and allows for. Thankful for the opportunities. The days just keep coming and going and life keeps going! We are blessed to know the Lord sisters!

I want to keep my blog a place of simple edification and encouragement for sisters...sharing His Word and simple thoughts and glimpses into my life and sharing His creations...all for His glory and all good, pure, and true things. My place is not to teach the Word. But I will go deeper into women's areas like there is a command for at least the older women to teach younger women in Titus 2 and therefore I am in training for being able to do that even more when I'm older or something:-)
The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
Titus 2:3-5
And remembering what it said in verse one of what these things are...
But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
Titus 2:1
Actions that are proper for sound doctrine. We sure know having sound doctrine is important. Jesus is the truth and we want to walk in all truth after Him!

Keep pressing on in whatever duties are in front of you! We want to be faithful with what the Lord has given us to do.
Hold fast sisters! The Lord is at hand. Let's be ready and watching and sober.
But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.1 Peter 4:7
Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;1 Peter 1:13
