Greetings sisters!
The Lord gave another day! I hope you're pressing on in Him and good works!
For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:
For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath provoked very many.
2 Corinthians 9:1-2
I love thinking about that...how those saints were faithfully ministering to the saints with forwardness of mind! And that their zeal had provoked many! We too can encourage others on just by them seeing our lives lived well unto the Lord. We want to be good examples.
Sharing a great scripture to edify...
Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
Jeremiah 17:5-10

Our Lord is indeed risen and coming back soon! For now He's given us work to do labouring in His 'vineyard' as His servants while He's gone and with the 'talents' He has given. As a sister brought up again recently how this life is not just about getting to heaven. No. It is about glorifying Him by bearing much good fruit and serving Him as we are not our own!After a cleaning job, I went to a nearby tourist town to see if anyone wanted the gospel...
Most didn't but some did! It reminded me of the scriptures about what happened in the day of Noah...
But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Matthew 24:37-39
Destruction is coming and they don't want to know about it or they don't believe it and don't care.
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
1 Thessalonians 5:3

Praise God sisters that we can know the truth and be striving against sin in our own lives and helping those in the body! And we can warn others the best we can and keep going!
