Greetings sisters!
I hope you're striving on today! God gave us this day to choose to serve Him. And there's constantly choices to make each minute of our day isn't there. We want to make the best ones for Him.
I'm thankful God gave us examples for today of those who rebelled against Him in the past. We don't want to get close to that. We have no excuse.
But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
1 Corinthians 10:5-6,10-11
If only more people took that seriously. We want to.

Let us strive to do that with His power and by walking in His ways. It's such a wicked world and especially with many who claim His name and yet live anything but holy lives. They bring shame upon His name and blaspheme it by doing so. We hope they repent before they lose their souls as we know Jesus said many will be claiming His name yet not known by Him.
Let's keep holding fast to truth and sound doctrine. His Word doesn't change as man changes around us all the time. He is our Rock!
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
Matthew 7:24-25
