Today's Encouragement (5 May 2023)

Greetings sisters!

How's your day in the Lord? It may be really rare to be face to face in fellowship these days but that doesn't mean we don't care about one another. Of course it's very different but God gave us ways we can communicate the best we can with what we have. Praise God to know a few holy saints who love righteousness and truth and all good things and hate false ways and sin!

I thought of this scripture

And the next day we touched at Sidon. And Julius courteously entreated Paul, and gave him liberty to go unto his friends to refresh himself.

Acts 27:3

We have no fellowship or unity with the world do we so it's as if we are strangers and pilgrims here and we truly are too! But when someone shares the same goal of seeking first His kingdom and righteousness and obeying His commands and having that fervent love for one another (which is just one command) it's refreshing for sure! We speak the same language!

Next scripture chapter to edify...

It was a cold and rainy day today but a busy one in my Titus 2 works which oftentimes are such simple things repeated over and over and yet different things too. Anyway good works my quiet godly sisters are doing going about your lives, minding your own business, and working with your own hands. I know my sisters aren't lazy!

I think that's about all from me today...sometimes I have more and sometimes less but I cheer my sisters on in the faith to keep fighting the good fight of faith and striving on the narrow road! I encourage my sisters to endure hardness like good soldiers and patiently press on in obedience and knowing this all is our duty! I encourage my sisters to rejoice in trials of all sorts and be on guard and crucify the flesh and hold fast to sound doctrine!

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

Hebrews 12:1-3
