Thinking about the difference between people's words and their hearts.
And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.Ezekiel 33:31
This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
Matthew 15:8
Makes me also think of all the words of the songs they love too. They may love to sing many emotional words to Jesus and say they love Him...but it's not in their heart to obey. We know to love is to obey.
And we know satan knows and quotes scripture too so we can't think someone is biblical if they do or if they seem to know them very well.
Hold fast sisters and let's not be deceived by anyone. Test all things!
