Today's Encouragement (16 August 2022)

Greetings sister saints!

Our great God is so merciful and faithful! Praise Him!

I'm hoping you're all strong in the Lord and pressing on today! And I'm sure you're all well occupied in many different good works as godly women. Even though we all strive to live simple lives in Christ and don't fill our lives with the world's trash and time-wasting empty sinful things...we have many simple duties to do daily which takes a lot of time. And we sisters have been reminding each other to see our daily lives as ministry. And also we can remember to see it as our mission field so to speak.

Love these scriptures which show us the truth about good works!

Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Titus 2:14

This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

Titus 3:8

And so many more all over His Word! It doesn't say 'zealous in some good works' or 'careless about good works'...but zealous for them and careful to maintain them! Let's keep doing that sisters, in the ways we ought as godly women!

And I share a small glimpse into my day...

...of making walnut milk and snacks...

...which are good food blessings the Lord provided one more day!

I was thinking of this scripture today too...

And Samuel said, What meaneth then this bleating of the sheep in mine ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?

1 Samuel 15:14

...when I could hear the sheep and lambs making a great noise! And then pondering the great cost of sin we see in so many examples in the scriptures (like Moses not entering the promised land and Ananias and Sapphira). There's so many such examples as that and yet today many are sinning on and on against God. But let it not be so amongst us sisters who fear God. And we have so much more precious truths revealed in His Son...so let us keep striving to serve and obey Him which is loving Him.

Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

Psalm 2:11

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Philippians 2:12

Thank you sister for the scriptures. In the Lord, we always have a lot to rejoice about! And we have been told to rejoice in trials and persecutions for Christ's sake!

This is one thing to rejoice about...

Amen what a great blessing that is!

He is so worthy to be praised!

Hold fast sister saints!

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela
