Today's Encouragement (3 July 2022)

Greetings to my holy sisters!

Here's another brand new day we have been given to choose to serve the Lord (or not)!

I hope each of you are strong in the faith today!

Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. Let all your things be done with charity.

1 Corinthians 16:13-14

I was thinking about the greatness of our God...His great righteousness and holiness. And yet man wants to think he is someone. But we want to remember how great our God is and then we can see our proper place as His creations to be in subjection to Him. So I share just a few scriptures in that.

Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.

Psalm 48:1

(And He spoke great creations into existence too!)

Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things: O God, who is like unto thee!

Psalm 71:19

The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

Psalm 145:17

And ye said, Behold, the Lord our God hath shewed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth.
Deuteronomy 5:24

And that's so amazing really that we can know and serve such a God as He is! It's humbling really and a joyous thing! Amazing too that He cares about His people and looks after us. We know He gave us more than we deserve in sending His Son so we can be forgiven!

Ah Lord God ! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:
Jeremiah 32:17

And a sister sent this scripture after I had most of this post done. Another great section of scripture about our mighty God!

Glory to Him alone!

And another sister shared this verse today...

Even though it may seem we are vastly outnumbered as saints (and we are) and that the world is against us and it is as Jesus said we will be hated, it's a comfort to know that we have the greater power on our side! Our God is greater than satan!

Thank you sisters for sharing the Word!

And I share some of my Titus 2 works with good food the Lord provided for the day.

Vegetable and lentil soup with tuna grills...

And some pumpkin pie crumble for dessert...

The Lord gives us what we need to live to serve Him! And not just simple bread and water (which really would be good too!) but so much variety in it all! Let us be so thankful and let not complaining be once named amongst us saints.

Well I hope all of my holy sisters, daughters of this most high God, are striving on set on the kingdom of God most! Hold fast sister saints!

Love in the Lord,

Sister Michaela
