Today's Encouragement (10 July 2022)

Hello sisters!

A new day is here and so am I! And we get to choose to serve the Lord and endure and overcome another day, not giving up!

But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

2 Thessalonians 3:13

Amen...let's not be weary sisters! Not in any good works whether it be our duties as Titus 2 women or in fighting compromise and sin, or just living this life in Christ obediently.

Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

2 Thessalonians 2:14-15

Let's be standing fast in the true doctrines and traditions and stedfast for our Lord!

I was reading this scripture and pondering about what it says about saving souls...

Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

James 1:21-22

And this one too...

Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

James 5:19-20

God's word is true and we want to take these things seriously.

I was weeding the carrot seedling patch today...

It was a jungle of nettles and you can see the tiny carrot plants at the bottom...

I was thinking most of the time about Jesus' parable again about the wheat and the tares because I accidentally rooted up a lot of carrot plants too.

And peas and onions coming along...
Good to see God growing food to eat from the ground! It's awesome! And we have to have patience for it though.

Pretty creations I saw on my walk...

Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

Psalm 103:1

The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.
Isaiah 2:11

I love that and I look forward to the day our Lord alone will be exalted!

I must go now sisters. More good works to do before bedtime! Hope all is well in your lives and most importantly you're loving the Lord most! Hold fast!

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela
