Daughters for His Glory

Greetings godly sisters of mine!

Trusting you're all well and strong in the Lord!

Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
Romans 6:12-13

Sin does not reign in us, sisters...but we are servants yielded to God and instruments of righteousness unto Him. I love that thought! And we're alive from the dead too! Glory to God!

Just a glimpse from my work (serving my family) lately...

Got quite a bit of curtain work done.

And actually I got to give a gospel card to a woman when I was in the store buying those green ones. God can use us as we go about our business and Titus 2 works can't He sisters! This woman was also looking at curtains and asked me a question about them and helped me with the ones I was looking at so I gave her a gospel card afterwards.

And yesterday I was buying some groceries and the woman at the checkout asked me where I was from and said she saw I looked different so she too got the good news of Jesus Christ! God is good to allow us to share such precious truth. That's a great privilege to do that. We don't want to take it lightly or be a bad witness in any way.

But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts. For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness:
1 Thessalonians 2:4-5

Yes we live to please God don't we sisters. And we want to be blameless.

I'm sure my sisters all doing many good works right where you are.

For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant.
Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.
Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.
1 Corinthians 7:22-24

What a blessing to serve Christ and not our flesh or the world or sin! And it's a blessing to be godly women submitting to what God Himself created us to be and not stepping outside if that.
