Today's Encouragement (29 May 2022)

Greetings sister saints!

Hoping this finds my sisters strong in the Lord!

Thank you sister for sharing those pretty creations that you saw! Glory to God for all He has made. There's so very much variety like the fact that most every person is totally unique looking to everyone else. His power and creativity is very great indeed! Just reminds me again that all are truly without excuse.

I was reading and was pondering this scripture...

And thinking how sadly most 'Christians' are not fearing but are high-minded, thinking they're all good because of some vague belief in Jesus.

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Philippians 2:12

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

John 14:21

Praise God for His Word as we take it all and not just cling to parts of it.

And I just share some pictures from my day in the Lord.

Finished sewing a skirt....

Interesting flower creation...

Pretty grasses...

(which the camera wouldn't focus on without my hand there.)

More winter vegetable blessings...

Pulled up some old tomato plants...
They had been very fruitful in their life. What blessings!

Which reminds me of us saints as one day we will have completed our fruitful life in the Lord. Well hopefully...as we have to endure until the end. If we're abiding in Christ we ought to be bringing much fruit. And whether we had been serving the Lord many years or someone just came to the Lord before they died...we can all have that hope of eternal life. Reminds me of Jesus' parable of the labourers...some had labored longer and others but a short time yet they received the same pay. Our Lord is so worthy to be labored for and we glorify the Father by bearing much fruit.

And if we overcome we also will receive a crown of righteousness in that day!

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
2 Timothy 4:7-8

Cooked some more food to freeze...

Refreshing evening walk...

And the Lord provided our daily bread another day...

We sisters strive to live grateful lives and give the Lord thanks. We remember the Israelites who grumbled and God wasn't pleased with them. In Christ we know that life is so much more than things like food and clothing...or all the many extra blessings we have. We are so blessed! Let us never complain!

Yummy healthy treat of 1 mashed banana and 1 cup of quick oats (and bit of coconut), then baked...

Thank you sister for sharing this scripture...

Amen we want to be walking uprightly and living righteous and in truth and not lies! Christ is the truth!

I must go now sisters...hope your day is a great one!

Hold fast to the truth in Christ and the faith once delivered to the saints, sisters!

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela
