Today's Encouragement (4 April 2022)

Greetings sister saints!

Grace and peace to you in Christ our Saviour!

But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

Titus 3:4-8

I love that! What love and kindness God showed to us in sending His Son! And God's word tells us the truth (even if man lies about us and says we think our works can save us) in saying it's not by our own works of righteousness! We believe His Word and trust in Christ's work for us! But we're 'careful to maintain good works' because of what He did and the way He has opened to the Father if we follow after Him! We have been created anew to live righteous and holy lives! Glory to God! Let us keep on in this and not ever be tempted to think we're going too far in being very careful that we are diligent in every good work.

And we as godly women are blessed with many good works to do. We want to obey all of God's commands for us because we love Him. We are blessed to be told our role as godly women and we strive to live after Christ's example as well. And just one of what we know to do is to be Titus 2 keepers at home and there's a great many good works within that one, isn't there! Let us be thankful and content with what is set before us and not looking elsewhere lest we be unfaithful in our duties.

And using tomato blessings...

God provides for us again and we acknowledge all good things are from Him!

For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Isaiah 57:15

What a great and mighty holy God and yet He deals with the lowly among us. We want to remember who we are and not steal any of the glory that is due unto His name alone!

Well sisters, I do hope and pray you're all going on strong and faithful in the Lord with a willing heart for His truth and hungering and thirsting after righteousness. May the Lord bless the labours of your hands!

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela
