Hands

Hello sister saints!

Here I am back again sharing some more encouragement and edification in the things of God and this life in Christ.

Today I share some scriptures on...hands. What great creations that God made and that allow us to do very many things as we work in this life. We can be very thankful that most all of us have two good working hands. It would be a great challenge if we didn't!

And we sisters use our hands for good. We don't use them to do sinful things that our minds tell them to do. Instead we use them to fulfil God's commands. Some of those would be to work and for us women we labour in being keepers at home, some are helpers to husbands or servants, or working to earn money. We can use our hands to give someone precious truth of the gospel of Christ. We can do kind deeds. We can write encouragement to sisters and send love. So very many things...good things...we use our hands for! What wonderful creations they are!

Look at the Proverbs 31 woman and all it mentions how she works with her hands in good things!

She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. [19] She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. [20] She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. [31] Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

Proverbs 31:13,19-20,31

I love that and I know my sisters are like that too each in your own different things the Lord has for you!

We sisters love this one too and because we can also in a figurative way encourage each other and lift up their hands so to speak.

But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.

Exodus 17:12

Like it says here...

Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;

Hebrews 12:12

What a blessing to encourage a weary soul on! And even if we are separated in distance we know we would help a sister physically with their work if we could! And we can use our hands to type them a message and let them know we would help if we could! That's what some of us sisters do say and it brings smiles and it is encouraging just knowing the willing helpful hearts and hands of love one to another.

I share a few more verses on hands...

Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

Psalm 24:3-4

Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

Ephesians 4:28

And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;

1 Thessalonians 4:11

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

2 Corinthians 5:1

Therefore hath the Lord recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.

Psalm 18:24

Praise God we can read His precious Word, with our eyes and hands, and I get to share it here!

I picked, peeled, and cut lots of apples for sun drying over the next few warm days. What a great blessing all that is!

What beautiful weather it has been lately here! We have a great Creator!

Cute little new calf was born here...

And that means there will be fresh milk again for us too.

OK sisters I must go now. Glad I got to use my hands to write you some encouragement and send a few pictures with as well! Strive on sisters, serving this great God who Created this all and sent His Son to save us from our sins!

Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the Lord. Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens.

Lamentations 3:40-41

Love in Christ,
