Greetings sister saints!
God gave another day to me...and my sisters if you're reading this!
This life may at times seem like it's just relatively the same day in and day out...for the most part. But we know life could change drastically at any moment. Where is our focus? If we have it in the Lord and eternal things then our life is not totally bound up down here but we have a foundation that is deeper than anything that can come upon us in this life. And we shall not be moved..though we may be severely tested for a time. But on the other hand if we are looking at things or people or trusting in good times in our countries we will be greatly weakened if it all goes 'bad'. Our trust must be completely in the Lord.
There may be 'easier' seasons and harder ones...but we know our life itself is only for a season. Eternity if forever. And sometimes we may desire to not be on this earth anymore...but with the Father...but He knows our days and we must live them out, faithfully unto death until He takes us home or He returns. And He gave us each our works to do.
We know the truth about it all and these may be some thoughts we have too...
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
Philippians 1:21
For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:
Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.
Philippians 1:23-24
He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
Revelation 22:20
But...we must be submitted to the Lord's will. And trust in Him!
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
1 John 2:3-6
Let's look to know what His commandments are and strive to walk as He walked sisters. And we can find them in His Word He has left for us and keep going over it to remind ourselves of them.
I read a scripture too to encourage us sisters...
OK time for me to go...but hope what I shared encouraged you in some ways. I'm fighting on in the faith...and trust you all are too. Nothing's worth losing our soul over on this earth. Christ is worthy and He is preparing a place for us and is coming back!
