A Little More Encouragement

 

Hello sisters! 

I hope and pray you are all standing strong in the faith! 

Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

1 Corinthians 16:13

We certainly do know we have to be strong in faith in this wicked and faithless perverse generation. 

But He's given us all we need and His power to get through it all and overcome! 

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

2 Peter 1:2-4

Praise God for that sisters! What hope we have in Him! 

Yesterday I modified a couple of my shirts. 

Shortened the sleeves on one. 

And trimmed off some length on an extra long one. While of course a very long shirt sounds like a good idea they are not made with the fulness that a dress might have and so might cling where you don't want them to...so may need to be trimmed yet obviously should still be plenty long. We do the best we can don't we sisters and are so thankful for food and clothing. 

And I sewed a slip from some spare fabric...

And I share a banana milkshake with my sisters... 

Simple good food blessings the Lord provides. 

There's lots of these around here still... 

Hay field in the distance... 

God providing grass for His animals that man looks after. 

And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 

He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 

But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 

He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

1 John 2:3-6

That's comforting sisters. We can know who are God's people by whether they keep His commandments. Praise God for His Word that shows us what His commandments are!

For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 4:2

More of God's pretty world... 

Glory to Him for it all and most of all for us knowing the way back to Him through His Son! 

Well sisters that's my simple edification and encouragement for you my sisters who truly love the Lord! Hope your day is a good one as you strive on in the faith one more day looking to Christ through it all. I appreciate my diligent sisters who love the Lord. Hold fast! 

Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

2 Peter 1:10
