Sister Sharing

 


Greetings sisters!


I'm back again! How are my sisters who love the Lord and want most of all to be pleasing to Him! How precious that we can rest in Christ because we never could earn our way to heaven without Him! The Father gave us so much in sending His Son! We don't take that lightly but strive to be pleasing to Him! 


I have a simple post with some things sisters sent me. It might be a simple post but what's behind it, the love of the Lord, the changed holy lives, the zeal for God, leading to love and care for souls is precious and big. All we have, our very breath, our souls, our days, and the hope to come through the gospel of Christ all comes from God. We are nothing without Him, destined for eternal destruction, but by faith we believe and obey the gospel which leads us to give our lives to our great God with hope of eternity with Him! 



I was sharing these scriptures with a sister... 


And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

John 3:14


And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

Numbers 21:8-9




I love seeing all the connections between the Old and New Testaments. So much to learn and dig into!

Glory to God! He is almighty and holy, the great Creator! He alone is worthy! 





Amen our God is greater and we can overcome the world through Him! 





What a great gift God sent the world in His Son. And we sisters strive to love Him by keeping His commandments. 







Let us trust in the Lord sisters! He is our hope to keep us through all things. 






So too may we who are His people be righteous and holy washed in His blood and seeking to obey Him always. 



A sister sent me this on a picture I shared with her. I'm so grateful for godly women, my sisters in the Lord, who are my dear friends. I love you so much in the Lord! 




Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

Romans 12:9-10


To be centered around loving the Lord, obeying His ways and sharing our lives in Him is a gift on earth from above and we shall all gather home with the Lord if we run this race patiently until the end! 


Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Hebrews 12:1
